  2. I'd seen their channel a few times but not enough to take a good look. Thanks! That Michelle "hot" dancing clip is some homage to Harley's hot dancing, I'm sure. They were both frost queens by that time. Those credits are a good example of why I stopped watching GL in those years. Once I could accept that Ben would have few ties to Fletcher, I grew to really like Bomer - that he was so gorgeous didn't hurt. What they did to that character, along with, a while later, Jonathan screaming in my ear, were why I dropped the show for god.

Thank you so much for reading them! Please let me know if there are any left I haven't posted - I don't have any more Digests from this time period, at the moment, but will look out for them.

  7. 1987 promo (turn your volume down)
  8. Another 1987 episode. This from 1995 has one of my favorite AMC characters of all time, Arlene! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kbf8cv1Nu8
  9. The Felicia/Carl scene in this is fantastic. And she actually brought up his thing with Lorna! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey3FJU-mMYk&feature=autoplay&list=ULdTD6_iFSUKA&lf=mfu_in_order&playnext=1
  10. Daytime Confidential named Tracy/Anthony one of the worst couples of 2011. I didn't even know they were a couple in the first place. It comes across to me as them making a non-choice because they didn't want to put a big sacred cow on the list. http://daytimeconfidential.zap2it.com/2011/12/16/dcs-10-worst-soap-couples-of-2011?page=0,1 There are a few fun bits in here for Tracy/Jane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9Kw8fBQ2FQ
  11. Cindy is also in this clip, for a bit, at the start. I didn't realize they were still using the Love mansion set by this time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42eC9CYKuCM&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
  12. Cindy fans, she's in clip 12 (the second clip I posted). That scream from Donna when she realizes she hit Marley...it sucks that they didn't showcase Anna Stuart more often.
  13. There were quite a few clips uploaded today which mainly focus on Carl's last story. It's funny how what looked very cheap at the time now seems vibrant to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a95P0Is11YI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5pE11EFalc&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
  14. This is from a Daily TV Serials look at 1973-1974.
  15. This is from Daytime TV Serials, their look back at 1973-1974.
  16. I loved Cindy. I have no idea what you would choose for her because the show was burning in hell for most of her run. I did like the early 1998 material, when Richard Culliton did a lot to salvage the show. I'd also like to see some of Felicia's alcoholism story. And of course the galas - AW had so many in the 80's. You could have a disc full of those!
  17. Weddings: Lenore/Walter (also very early Steve Frame) Blaine/Sandy and Rachel/Mac double wedding Grant/Vicky Cass/Kathleen Ryan and Vicky marry in Heaven Several episodes of the 25th anniversary, ideally, the scenes which have Alice and Rachel talking about Steve. An episode where Anne Heche had to play Vicky impersonating Marley (there were several during the time Marley fled while she was on trial for shooting Jake). At least two episodes of the Janice poisons Mac saga. One to show her spiral into madness and Mac's illness, and another that is the knife episode which obsessive AW fans like me have already seen. Mac/Rachel reconcile after she thinks he's with his secretary and he is jealous of Mitch (1986). The episode where Robert Delaney destroys Iris' Mac bust and her Iris painting. The first 90 minute episode. Some type of bitchfest between Iris and Rachel (Bev Iris), or Mac's fury towards Iris. Or the episode where Iris learns Mac isn't her bio father, if that's available. The episode where Mac learns Iris is the Chief.
  18. This is wonderful. Thanks. I'd forgotten Duncan and Shannon even got married again.
  19. Susan/AMC got a lot of flak for this, as I think both Marlena de La Croix and Michael Logan panned the scene (I might be wrong though, it's been a long time). I think the criticism must have struck a nerve, as Erica/SL was so restrained after this, in emotional scenes.
  20. Olivia looks like a Vulcan in that second photo.
  21. It was definitely a time of transition. Was this after Corinne Jacker was gone? Was this when Purser had taken over? Is it me or were they very blatantly building up Rachel/Mac again? Steve felt like an outsider. I know he'd be killed within a few months of this. Rachel and Mac had such amazing chemistry, whether fighting, or being friends. I must say I also liked the chemistry between Elena and Mac. I'm sorry that they didn't seem to know what to do with her. Clarice and Larry were such a normal, believable, likeable couple. I liked the moment where they agreed Henrietta and Quinn would stay and he joked that if he wanted it then it had to be right. I am always happy to see more of Henrietta. Michelle Shay is such a unique actress and also very beautiful. I'm sorry the show didn't hold onto her, or to Quinn. I do find all this "They both lost the man they loved" stuff to be kind of strange - I don't know if they would be so chummy right after Bob died. I was shocked at Steve in that house, even if it was technically Rachel's. It just didn't seem right at all. I was glad to see more of Lynn Milgrim, as I remember during her awful ATWT days Michael Logan said she'd been a "soap queen" on AW. That made me think she had a larger role than she really did. I liked seeing more of Julia too. Too bad Kyra Sedgwick didn't stay around. I loved the scenes with Jamie and Rachel when they were talking about how important he was to Mac. It's funny - from the first time I saw AW, I felt a connection, even though I knew very little about it, and it wasn't a great period for the show. Through the tapes, and DVDs, and Youtube, and the few years on Soapnet, that has continued. My love for this show never seems to fade. I think it's the characters. Some of the richest, most believable, most fascinating characters ever on television.
