  1. Thanks for reading. I'm never sure if these have already all been read. This was such an unsteady time at AW - I'm glad they had these interviews, as they had one with Stephen and Linda a few years later. The vets truly did hold this show together. I love Linda's work on AW and I can see where younger actors would learn from her, as she was so perfect in every scene, and so old school.

  5. If you see Booker as being the same as Obama then why are you defending him?
  6. Booker is a typical panderer, one who cowers to the Beltway by talking about "both sides." It is a dated and pathetic view which only Democrats have, and I am glad that people are tired of it. It is nonsensical to compare the Bain ads to the ad campaign planned about Jeremiah Wright, which blatantly involved race-baiting. Not everything is equivalent. Year after year after year, anything the GOP does is shrugged off because "both sides do it." Cory Booker enables this view, and he deserved to be criticized. No one asked him to go on Meet the Press and give us the David Broder worldview. This is why Democrats lose. They are terrified of everything. Meanwhile, Republicans are - on taxpayer dollars - sending people to Hawaii to investigate Obama's birth certificate, and no one gives a damn.
  7. So do I. I started a thread a while back asking if anyone remembered their stories or if they had an exit. The sad thing is that GH did a lot more with them than most black characters, or any black couples, since that time.
  8. Thanks for finding those! What did you think of those episodes. I hope they will be up for a while as I can't watch them at the moment. (if they play for me at all).
  9. I also wish we knew whether Laurie Heineman's reels are available. She bought one or two episodes after she left AW, to submit - one where she was in therapy and another where she said goodbye to Emma or someone.

  12. July 1983 Digest
  13. This is from a July 1983 Digest. The first page has something that was on the scanner - I lost the magazine a while back so can't take another, sorry. Anyway, I always loved Ginger, so underrated and ethereally beautiful. Getting rid of her cost the show a lot of its innocence and spirit.
  14. I like that idea. I know that some other writers stretched things out (I think someone said India being unconscious/bashed over the head went on for weeks).
  15. That sounds like a wonderful exit for that Marj character. What did you think of her? Is Gerald just back briefly?
  16. I can certainly see why (not sure why they had him make a face like the photographer just took a dump).
  17. Those are nice photos. I'd never seen them before. Erica had a toned tush. While watching a 1990 AMC episode AddieCate posted I saw a little of the Pat/Cal/Angie "triangle," if you can call it that. Pat seemed a lot more vibrant than many women on the show - I wish they'd done more with her. Angie seems nice, but a little bland. I wonder if they would have used her more if Debbi had stayed or if they were not using her much and that's why Debbi left. Cal just seems sleazy - there was an awful line where Angie said, "Come on!" and he said, "That's what I want to do - come on to you." Really??
  18. Not sure why Amanda is so upset about selling to Reginald, as he did nothing to Mac, but then I guess it's natural to hate Reginald... Wasn't expecting Nicole to be Allen's mother! This will certainly make for some drama when Donna learns Allen was spying on her. I wonder if this is heading for Kirkland/Paulina.
  19. Good to see Amanda taking a more active role in her life and in the story. I can't wait to find out more about Allen's mother. Can we also put up some Alicia Coppola Lorna photos too
  20. Is that Michael Lowry in the prison scene near the end of this clip? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFi7GCIiZ3Y
  21. Greg Watkins (Evan Walsh, ATWT) was considered for OLTL's Kevin Buchanan recast, before Kevin Stapleton was hired.
  22. I hope Erika does win again, or a tie with Debbi Morgan. Maggie's first scenes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDq3Y3vTGIU
  23. How long was this police chief around? Not the best actor. I think these short clips are the first I've seen of the writers strike material (if there's more out there I don't know about, my apologies). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrD3UIkp47c&feature=autoplay&list=ULxwvyVz_s9wQ&playnext=1
