I wish someone could ask Susan about it. I know this woman is likely long gone but it's good to know a little more about who she was. I never thought of who actually turned the page. For all I knew it was Thing.

I don't mind fights with men on soaps, I just don't see a need for all the bludgeoning, especially since it didn't seem to lead to anything in the story.

I was reading an old Digest from 1984 and they talk about Mary Kay Adams being cast, and say the role was originally Beth's cousin before they created India. So she was originally cast as Jessie Matthews? That would have been...interesting. They also talked about the intro of Roxie and how she and India would fight over Philip. Roxie never had any interest in Philip onscreen, did she?

True, but I was answering the question about how the show would have been different. I don't think it would have been that much different. Most fans didn't seem to be invested in Ethan.

I thought there were just two. There's four? That's nice. They came close to getting Jude back in 2007, but it fell through. Then Max's other sister came back bitchy instead. Ruth came back one day when Jack "died" but that was it. I think Bazz initially realized he was gay, then after that wasn't sure, then was sure, and then left town.

The first few years, people didn't know her crimes, and she had to keep them covered up. The next few years were about her various schemes after everyone found out about her and she'd been committed.

I think they were probably right to limit the interaction Lauren and Sheila had on B&B. I just wish they'd given Lauren better material.

Scott didn't seem to be that popular on AMC.

I think going to B&B was probably for the best. Scott was a drab character, and Sheila had no real relationship with any other major characters. What surprises me when I watch back is how little interaction Lauren and Sheila really had. For story purposes that does make more sense (now you have enemies sharing the same scene dozens of times).

What did you think of that weird Cracked Connie doll, or whatever her name was? I know at the time there was some controversy over her being a Timmy replacement, but didn't they say she was never intended to be a permanent replacement? Does anyone have the montage they did when Precious left (sorry if that was already posted)?

I was trying to think of what was going on around 2004-2005 and if that may have been a good time to make the changes.

Sorry, I don't know why I thought the man's name was James. I wonder if the show would have been better off if they'd wrapped some of the stories up at the midway point and then started some new ones. Were people still interested in Teresa/Ethan/Gwen?

It's always hard to watch any clips of her and not remember all that about her leaving for religious reasons. I wonder how she got through it.
