  1. At first I thought you meant Tamara stopped by your place with pizza and wine and asked you to watch the show.
  2. I think it's called Necessary Roughness.
  3. Tamara Braun was on Supernatural last night...trying for a Southern accent, as a hilariously trashy and bitchy woman who'd briefly been a country music star, only to fall into a bottle. "Get cancer and die." "Daddy's drunk and armed - must be Christmas." I guess we got that at the same time...
  4. I'm so glad you got to read it. I'm not sure who the writer was either. I know someone used to have a list of some of that stuff. I forgot that was the same Ellen who later produced Search/RH.
  5. Jax/Alexis, what could have been, even in just a short promo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0qMLFqycbw
  6. Thanks to SFK. Good stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tQjJl95h3w

  9. AddieCate put up some bumpers, promos, and 2001 episodes. Jessica Morris - the rough acting years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6c0-29uQaMw

  11. There's an episode of Search on Youtube from the early 60s, and he has some scenes in it.
  12. ATWT was a real whipping boy for most of the 70s, as we see even here. Thanks so much for reading. I wasn't sure how many fans of the old soaps were still here. I didn't know that was the little saying they used for The Doctors. I wonder when they retired it. I take it David O'Brien didn't enjoy his Search experience.
  13. After Dark January 1971
  14. Ben Thomas, formerly of The Doctors, filled in for GL's Jordan Clarke (Billy Lewis) in 1990 when Clarke had chicken pox.
  15. HE LOVES TUPAC! HE LOVES TUPAC!1!1!1!
  16. Wasn't Liza's exit taking a job out of town? Or am I just mixing that up with later explanations for the character? To me Dottie sounds like one of those characters who had fans, but the show didn't know how to write for her. But I don't know if that's true. She did get an SOD cover, if that means anything.
  17. God I got your screenname almost all wrong. It's not like I've been seeing it for four years.
  18. Gay hate in Indiana, with a school authority basically saying that gays have no purpose in life, and have a disability. I saw a little of CNN and some of them were agreeing with her. This is why I hate CNN. It still frightens me how many people out there share this view, and how much some in the media will nod along. The next time someone tells you that gays have everything and don't need any protection, show them this. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/02/11/16930207-gay-free-prom-idea-backfires-on-supporters-in-indiana-town?lite More of AP moving further toward downgrading homosexuality and same-sex relationships to as much of an "other" if they can. The days of their being a news organization to respect seem long gone. http://americablog.com/2013/02/ap-bans-use-of-words-husband-wife-for-legally-wed-gay-couples.html
  19. I mostly mean motivation in general. She says she wants to do something but then never seems to actually have a main point in the story. She wanted to learn to shoot and defend herself, but other than her sleeping with Shane and accidentally shooting Daryl (which I would not have written), there wasn't a lot of story (I think the best of the story was probably her suicide drama with Beth). Then in Woodbury they had to have her seduced by the Governor, with the desire to rebuild/lead coming only after that. To me it feels like they give her something to do but they don't know how to actually write her as a character, whereas someone like Carol doesn't drive story, but you know her inside and out, so she ends up seeming important.
  20. Laurie Holden. She gets a lot of flak for her acting (and some slut-shaming on Twitter - how nice), but I think she's a decent enough actress. I think the character just lacks some motivation. I think they should have had her at the prison and put someone else at Woodbury instead.
  21. Andrea is one of those characters I know is supposed to be something, but the writing never quite gets there.
  22. I like seeing Rachel trying to outplay Iris. I also like that you used some more recent headshots of some actors.
  23. Thanks to Addie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS4z7DTwp0c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSjhfDwc65g

  25. He looks busted as hell on Y&R. He reminds me of David Tom, which isn't a good thing. I guess he got better looking after Y&R, and after the frosted tips.
