Guiding Light Discussion Thread
I've had the same question. I think it would be 1991, as Philip and Beth were leaving, which is what triggered it. But someone once told me the scene never existed and Michael O'Leary was joking. I don't know. I'll never stop wanting GL and ATWT to be revived. I miss them every day, just about.

I think Lemay basically said in his book that Sam Groom's replacement was not good. I have another interview with him from around this time, in Afternoon TV. Not sure if I ever posted it or not. If not I will when I find it again. Hover did a lot of beefcake modeling earlier on. I guess this magazine didn't last too long. It's too bad.

ANOTHER WORLD 120 Is Michael alive???
I have to laugh at Felicia at a grave-digging. Once upon a time she would have been digging it up herself, probably wearing a huge boa. I like how you pair up some exes in this chapter. Allen seems to be getting that cheating itch...

This was probably already posted but this is one of the bits Steven Yeun did for Second City a few years ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A4PlXD560w

Really? That's interesting. I wonder if they will mention Hope. I thought he couldn't practice medicine because he killed his wife. Was that cleared up? I don't remember most of the story.- ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
I wonder if anyone will ask him about playing another character (he was on contract from fall 1996-spring 1997, and had a story with Ashley, Katherine and Hope - he actually left the show with Hope).- B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles

The beginning of this is on another channel. Michael O'Leary does a good job in this episode. I've mellowed because years ago, Josh kidnapping Reva would have enraged me. Now I mostly just think the scenes are a little flat, although I laughed when Josh tricked her into saying she hadn't been kidnapped. Daniel Pilon was so dull as Alan. Sonni/Solita is in this too, during Will's amnesiac story. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_2C0gGS5XY- The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
Why does that not surprise me? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTHUs4SoMso- The Politics Thread
Looks like there will be no sequester deal. The poor will suffer the most, at least at first, but no one in Washington cares about them anyway. Wait for the media to tell us, breathlessly, that this is all for the best, unless they can blame Obama for it, like celebrity-obsessed Woodward. Meanwhile, in the latest adventures of, "My God, this person has power?" http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2013/03/jan-brewer-unleashed-white-house-freeing-dangerous-immigrants-as-payback.php- Love Is a Many Splendored Thing
Thanks. It sounds like tough material. Did you think Donna did well?- One Life to Live Tribute Thread
She'd just married Sloan right before he died. She was still married to Ben, who'd been comatose for over a year. They were married for about two years before he was shot.- From These Roots
Thanks. When you read the writeups on the show you'd think Stadd was there for a few years at least.- Love Is a Many Splendored Thing
Thanks. Sometimes I forget about the long delays with magazines. There was one from early or spring 1971 which talked about how Leslie Charleson definitely wasn't leaving the show. But she must have already been gone by the time it was even in print.- Love Is a Many Splendored Thing
Do you know who Vic Vollaro played?- Glee: Discusion Thread
The ratings are still good enough for another season or two, although Murphy clearly has no idea what to do. It sounds like he's going to hold students back.- Isidingo
I think the episodes of Isidingo, last time I checked the rerun cycle, stopped several months after Lee's death, with Rajesh still in prison for crimes Barker had set him up for. They were also getting close to Lettie's death.- Isidingo
Thanks. I hope that we'll eventually get some later episodes. - ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
