  1. Pretty sure Jeb Bush is going to be running for President. First step is moving hard right on immigration. http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2013/03/jeb-bush-immigration-flip-flop.php?ref=fpa The media spent years weeping in his name - he was supposed to be President, the savior of us all, the repairer of Bush Sr's legacy, not his brother. This should get those Woodward types panting.
  2. Kirk Geiger Dan Gauthier Kevin Stapleton in that order.
  3. That tends to happen a lot with Rick - sometimes it's too much but in some way I think the show needs it, because most of the other characters are very low-key.
  4. Thanks. He never seemed to have that breakout role.
  5. I think Rick feels guilty because he's the one who told Carl he needed to grow up, and that's what Carl is trying to do, but in such a damaged way. The contrast between stone cold Carl and the Carl who was willing to die to get a family photo just broke my heart. I enjoyed seeing the various sides of Michonne in that episode, but especially her dry humor. I'm also glad they didn't feel the need to demean the character or put her in her place. It was chilling to remember that Morgan saved Rick when Rick was alone and distraught, and now, when a hitchhiker is in the same position, Rick leaves him to die (twice) and scavenges his backpack. That photo zap2it uses in their Andrew Lincoln bio does him no favors.

  10. I never knew he was on that show.
  11. I think we're the only two BMH Joey people around. I'd forgotten there was any brief interaction with Troy and Gabrielle. I wish they'd written her as more like she was in the Rauch era, still vulnerable and a little crazy, but not as fluttery and not as weak.
  12. I liked Cris and Natalie. It's a shame the show never did more with them. Some stories were just too plot instead of character or the right casting (Jen/Joey/Rex), and others apparently had no concrete plot at all (Flash). Probably the best thing I can say is they were at least trying to link all the stories and community together, ie, Al's radio broadcasts (I take it this was before he died).
  13. Thanks. I'd forgotten Joanna was on Knots Landing.

  16. I thought Lipton was very handsome in his GL run (although that photo doesn't do him justice). It's a little tough to remember he's the Actor's Studio guy.
  17. Not to mention it being a B&W photo. I guess they were just getting people used to her future career as Madge.
  18. That might not have been so bad. I guess they just went with RSW's wife instead.

  23. TV Radio Mirror March 1957 The forceast is that, on Valentine's Day, TV's Valiant Lady, helen Emerson (Flora Campbell) will make Governor Walker (John Graham) the happiest politician in the country when she takes his hand at the altar. We predict that by 1960 our Valiant Lady will mold the Governor into presidential timber. Any bets?
  24. That might have been for Melinda Cramer.
  25. I never knew that. I thought she was still threatening legal action at that time. I don't think anyone but Darlene would have worked, but that would have been interesting.
