  1. Because there's no one else. Personally, instead of chaining poor Mary to all the pensioners, I think her and Nick could be something really good if they wrote it seriously. I will wave your old man remark.
  2. He was at Hollyoaks and then Eastenders with Kirkwood, wasn't he?
  3. This Faye story has been surprisingly very gripping and well done. The actors who portray Faye and Craig have a great friendship chemistry. Great episodes tonight. I knew this show would eventually get to Nick and Carla. Talk about clutching at straws.
  4. I like that they did it. Maybe under a lesser actress I would hate her, but even as Laurel was saying it you could see the self-hatred in her eyes.
  5. The Carter family drama once again proved to be forced manure. It's so bad it should be on Hollyoaks. Next week is going to, no doubt, be torture.
  6. Carl, I know you have a reaction to Laurel using Daniel as another lie. The second he came out of her mouth, I was almost paralyzed in shock.
  7. I wish I could see this.
  8. You don't see enough of Emmerdale behind the scenes. That was nice to see.
  9. She actually has been fantastic and fits on Hollyoaks very well. It is 100% the horrible drawn out writing for her character that is the culprit to making a once promising, charismatic character into a completely depressing, miserable soul.
  10. Speaking of Ben Freeman, look who he was on Grange Hill with ... How dare you come after Vanessa like that. She's beautiful. You can not pass Go, you do not get $200.
  11. He's not exactly known for acting rationally. Also, he is dumb.
  12. Did I? I had to pause for a moment of reflection and then instantly thought of you (well, after dreaming of Ben Freeman, of course). I meant to post immediately after, but it somehow slipped my mind. I blame EastEnders, which I always watch last. I feel bad for him though, now forever tied to Marlon.
  13. Watch today's episode. We see her damaging the car and then when talking to Diane she explains (to the audience) why she did it.
  14. This could practically be any woman on this show. LoL
  15. 16 is the age of consent.
  16. When Val's actions come back to bite Emma in the ass (my speculation), my heart will break. I wonder if that is what will send her to the depths of doolally town.
  17. I saw yesterday that Sean Wilson (Martin Platt) is only turning 50 next month. Was the age difference addressed when Martin was with Gail?
  18. http://tvnz.co.nz/shortland-street/all-in-family-6268364 You got to love how Shorty keeps it in the family!
  19. It still shocks me that they're allowed to say p*ssy on this show. Caleb called TK one in today's episode.
  20. I disagree about Kane. I usually hate most child/teenager characters, but Kane never comes off as a brat to me. KJ Apa has everything going for him; he can act, sing, play the guitar and is beautiful. There are already rumours of him leaving soon and when he does he has all the makings of becoming a star. If someone lesser was in the role, Kane might come off how terrible he seems to be to you, but Apa always rises above that stuff and makes me feel for him.
  21. I read on DS awhile back (I don't go to the forums anymore) that at one point Ken and Deirdre admitted they didn't love each other anymore and only married for companionship. It sounded quite interesting, but apparently the show dropped the ball on it or something.
  22. The actor playing Kush was impressive tonight. Being EastEnders, this was probably the happiest episode of the year.
