Y&R: Old Articles
It's a shame Lily got lost in such a full supercouple. I've always hated supercouples and the shipping of couples in general. I could never understand watching edits of specific couples. For me I need the entire show and some of my favorite relationships are either friends or relatives. Also, Y&R trained me not to be stuck on one couple. Look how many years Victor and Nikki split up and they were huge. I also feel Lily and Daniel made more sense anyway. Even if you have to recast Lily, I'd try to bring back Michael Grazaidei and repair them. They could even bring Heather back with Daniel. She could give Paul something to do and also he a fresh love interest for Adam without the baggage.

@pdm1974 I found a pretty comprehensive fan site I've been reading and it definitely seems in it's short years it had it's ups and downs, but it seems when they show was good it was GOOD which I think accounts for how well remembered it is. When you compare it to another short lived 80s soap like Capitol, that show had potential but I don't know that they ever had a substantial period that was truly great. That's probably why it was so easy to get rid of it for B&B despite good ratings. Right now I'm about 3 weeks in. I've now met Cruz, I see Renee Jones has a small part as Kelly's best friend and I've met Warren who I remember from 24. I still find it enjoyable, but I see why they needed to do a reset in a few months. I think the show is fine but there are missing pieces the show could fill. I know Eden is still waiting in the wings and will be a major character, same for Lionel so I look forward to their arrives. So far my favorite character is Santana. The actress who plays her is GORGEOUS and I love the way she is styled and portrayed. You can tell she built herself up to what she is and she's scrappy. I find it hard to understand how this actress didn't stay longer. If I didn't know any better I'd assume the character never left whether she was recast or not. I read an interview with the actress she she spoke of how she hated when they made her dye her hair black so she'd look more Mexican. That's a shame because she looks beautiful the way she is. So far I'm waiting to see what is so special about Kelly. I know she was a hugely popular character, but this story with Joe Perkins and her bland fiance is putting me to sleep. Robin Wright is great, but I need to see her in a different storyline. I still love the original CC and must admit I'm not looking forward to his exit. Mason is kinda just there thus far, but the actor is good. Another huge standout for me is Louise Sorel as Augusta. She's another really well dressed and well conceived character. She commands every scene she's in and has chemistry with everyone. I like what I've seen of Minx, but it hasn't been much and Santana's mom is also a strong actress.

I've never seen even a clip of this show, but I was bored and looked in here and saw episodes posted and am going to try to follow along from the beginning! I have read that it didn't start off great, when did it improve? Granted I'm just turning on episode two, but I don't really have any complaints so far. The cast seems good and the show looks fantastic. Of course it's week one so I expect them to bring out their big guns, but this looks like it has potential! I also know there are tons of recasts and actors I'm familiar with on here like Terry Lester, Eileen Davidson (did they appear together?), Lane Davies, Tricia Cast, Robin Wright and so many others. Based on this first episode I'm excited to finally see this. I know this has a VERY loyal fanbase. I hope I can become a part of it!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Lmao @Cat you are so right about Beverly Hills always choosing the most trivial things to get up in arms about. Rumor has it that Sutton and Erika are feuding. Don't even wanna guess what that's about. In other news, Camille, Shannon Beador and KIM RICHARDS went to a gala for Vanderpump Dogs. I found Kim's inclusion to be surprising. Sadly I don't think it was filmed. Poor Kim better hope Kyle doesn't choke her out for going lol.

If Denise is really a target, I wonder if he substance abuse issues will pop up. She was on WWHL high as hell when last season ended. If she brings that energy I could see her ruffling feathers and them pouncing.

Sondland would be smart to turn on the president. He has already committed perjury not to mention His involvement in this. He can’t risk a Democrat winning in 2020 and him going to prison. This is the only thing that may save him. Going and lying *again* will hurt his case. On the subject of Politico and Kamala, it’s very odd. If she’s doing so poorly and has no chance, why is there such a large effort to have her drop out or steal her data? Why the heavy negative articles? I know her campaign hasn’t been perfect, but since Tulsi’s attack (which she couldn’t rebute in the time given) they’ve pounced on her to shape the narrative. On the flip side, Mayor Pete (who I’m convinced is a republican) rose only due to the media. They have heavily featured him all these months because he’s an interesting story being gay and that has allowed him to fundraise and be perceived as a frontrunner. He has no chance of getting the nomination even if he wins Iowa and New Hampshire, but they have ignored his faults to boost him and it’s just screwing everything up.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Every season until BH ends they will ask LVP to return and offer her anything to do it. That’s just a fact! Andy has made it clear he hated having to lose her. He ain’t stupid. He knows she’s their bread and butter.

I'm very confused about Salt Lake City and will reserve judgement until we have a cast and trailer. I'm disappointed they didn't announce it with those things. I don't know enough about the city other than stereotypes so I will keep an open mind.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
LVP did indeed appear tonight, but left before the RHOBH cast went on stage lol. She got a huge reaction too. As for the future of Dallas, I think it's safe since they're already casting for next season. I just can't imagine how long it can go on with these ratings. It must do really well with delayed viewing. My biggest question with this upcoming new city is what kind of wealth level it'll have. Also curious if they'll go with the all black or white cast or (gasp!) an integrated cast. I wonder if this might be the untitled HWs spin-off airing on Peacock. Regardless, it would be stunning if they do a full cast reveal at Bravo Con. That would be an iconic end to such a long awaited event.

I read LVP will be on the Watch What Happens episode and possibly at the Vanderpump Rules party afterwards.

OMG this Eva still is killing me lol. I can't believe it's taken this long but I'm glad she's finally being called out. It's funny because I expected Eva to have a quiet season considering she's pregnant. I guess she said she had time!

The media wants impeachment for the ratings, but in the end they don't want Trump impeached so they'll continue these types of story and commentary. Notice how common it is to mention that aid WAS released, but they skirt over the fact that it was released after the whistleblower complaint became public. If you rob a bank and return the money when the police find out you did it, it doesn't mean you get off the hook. Somehow the media is allowing that to be a narrative. My hope with impeachment is that it helps turn public opinion enough to help Democrats in 2020, but even then they'll have to deal with the media "both sides-ing" the election and working to help keep Trump in office.

We were just talking about Asian voters so this is promising. Shocking that neither party is trying to reach out to them though.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It was an unpopular opinion last season, but I really enjoyed it. I felt it was a nice transitional season and having just finished episode two of RHOA, I am LOVING this season. I feel like it's building nicely from what they developed last season and the return of Kenya has been a smashing success. Despite the drama surrounding her exit, it wouldn't have made sense when you consider she had a high risk pregnancy and wouldn't have been able to do much anyway. Plus I feel leaving on a positive note and coming back with a baby and husband makes me appreciate her more. The best part of this season is that it's giving me old school Housewives feel with the soap storytelling. Two years ago they would've edited Nene, Tanya and Marlo into every episode regardless of when it filmed. I LIKE that they're slowly and organically allowing the story to develop. The first episode had Kenya's return, then Marlo tonight and Nene and Tanya arrive next week. It gives you something to build towards. Kandi - She's always consistant and entertaining. This season she's been featuring less of her co-stars so far which is nice because you can focus on her and her relationships with the girls. I loved seeing Todd and Ace so far and the baby story interests me. Cynthia - Normally I can take or leave her, but so far she is bringing it. I like the Mike story and it was nice seeing Noelle again. I also like that she isn't going to cry and beg Nene for forgiveness. She has a lighter energy which is working. Porsha - I still can't believe how much I hated her and now she is not only watchable but enjoyable. The Dennis stuff is conflicting because everybody warned her, but it still sucks seeing what has happened. I hope she doesn't take him back, but she's always been a fool so she probably will. Eva - I still don't see how she has a peach. I don't dislike her, but she is just there. Once again it looks like she's going to continue throwing jabs behind peoples back then back tracking and !@#$%^&*] poppin when called out. I can't stand when she does this! They better not give her another pass and let this hoe have it. With that said, I'm still hoping she moves to Dallas for her new job and relocates to RHOD with Claudia Jordan. She's a small fish here, but with Claudia they could make Dallas watchable. Marlo - I saved my favorite for last. I know many don't like her, but I've always found her entertaining. I follow her closely on social media and always felt she should be a HW because she does so much that isn't featured on the show that could round her character out. I was so happy that when she returned they included her nephews. I was curious how that would be handled. It was nice seeing her be vulnerable. She almost didn't even seem like the same person. Seeing her bond with those boys the past few months on social media and now on the show has really made me respect her. I doubt she wanted kids, but she stepped up to the plate and has made those boys the center of her life. It isn't just for the show, this is her life and I applaud her for that. Not many with her lifestyle would take on that responsibility. Now going forward, I can't wait to see my favorite petty Moose next week! I hope Nene is as sour faced and bitter as ever! I have missed her hating ass!

Kamala has met with Asian American communities in California and Nevada. Her roots are deep with those groups in CA just from her previous work.

I agree with this. The KHIVE can be annoying at times, but they've done a lot of good for getting her back in the game IMO. Hell, they did a fundraiser on Twitter last weekend and raised around $15,000 just tweeting. They also do a good job of correcting the record and amplifying her when she has a town hall or TV appearance. With the disinformation campaign against her After School Care plan, they got lots of journalists to correct the record and they've been pushing for Kamala to do more black media and her campaign acknowledged what they were saying and have beefed that up. When pre-debate coverage is super negative always asking if she can make a comeback and then she has a good performance and gets zero coverage, you must understand her followers being upset. This is why I truly don't believe the polls. She's been making a comeback lately and I feel even if she doesn't win, her placing will be better than the polls suggest.

Basketball Wives on VH1
I remember enjoying every season of LA. It was strong from the jump and I always felt it was more balanced because you didnt' have an Executive Producer as a cast member. The only bad thing is that they bring on promising newbies and they almost always get dumped the following season.

Developing: 90210 Reboot with Original Cast!
The idea of a CW reboot was smart, but I wish it was written by people who liked the original. As bad as nuDynasty has gotten, I appreciate that the writers clearly know the original and throw in lots of easter eggs when they really don't have to. CW totally botched it. Mentioning Hannah Zuckerman but not actually including her or Andrea in the cast? Stupid. Bringing back Kelly was smart, but the handling of Dylan was horrible. The new Walsh family also sucked and they did a horrible job with Brenda's return. Still, I understand why they made it. Now with a continuation, especially on CBS All Access, you can't tell me it wouldn't have gone on for years. It literally could've been the Knots Landing/Desperate Housewives of this generation. Those characters were ripe for a reboot and considering Tori really needs money, she's stupid for not pursuing one. I also feel like Melrose Place is a series I'd consider revisiting. Maybe not set at the complex due to their ages, but something in LA with those characters. I just feel like because these are soaps people don't take those ideas seriously, but they're missing out.

I've always felt Bernie could never win in 2016 or 2020 and since Warren is similar to him in plans I wonder if it's the same with her. The biggest problem for Warren is that she can't fight. She was able to rise because Harris was completely knocked out with the Russian troll dump and media onslaught against her. That Harris is still running and rebounding shows great strength considering. While Harris has had to field off endless attacks (mostly false), Warren has had GLOWING media attention and almost no vetting. She did TWO LGBT forums and was never questioned on being a republican during the most difficult crisis's facing LGBT people. Now that they ARE starting to vet her she is falling apart. We saw on Breakfast Club she couldn't answer any questions about minorities or the Native American thing without getting tripped up. She has ALWAYS lost that war with Donald Trump. Then in the last debate Mayor Pete and Amy Klobuchar easily rattled her and now her Medicare for All plans has gotten her endless bad press. My worry with Warren always has been how she will handle being the actual nominee who will be getting Hillary/Kamala style attacks from all sides. If she can't handle one on one confrontations, what makes yall think she can handle it from Russia, the media and republicans? Biden is another who will fall apart in this regard. I don't want Bloomberg or anybody else to run, but there is a reason people BTS are running scared. You have four press darling frontrunners who in reality are very flawed candidates. We need minorities and young voters mobilized and the top four won't do that.

Developing: 90210 Reboot with Original Cast!
Good for them getting a quick pay day, but they were stupid not to pursue a real reboot which would've likely been renewed and gotten them more money. I doubt anyone will pursue another reboot now so this is likely it for them.

Between that and stealing Kamala's voter data, Tom Steyer really needs to drop out. I wouldn't even do the next debate.

Looks like all our suspicions that the show was boring and nothing was happening were correct lmao! Camille is making her midseason return! Next I bet we will hear of Kim or Brandi filming. Probably gonna throw money at LVP to sit down with Kyle. This is hilarious! I just don’t understand why they didn’t make Camille full time from the beginning.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Lol I know I’m probably wrong and this season is gonna be horrible, but that’s too sad for me to accept just yet. I need a tired promo first! As for Denise @Cat, rumors are saying she hasn’t been filming much due to her acting career, but despite heavy airtime, I don’t think B&B could be taking up THAT much of her time. Kyle has been going back and forth to film the new Halloween for at least two months but there haven’t been any negative reports about that.
