Lucinda comes in and informs Lily that they need to talk. She reminisces about the previous night and tells Lily that Noah had a one night stand with Carrie and it resulted in a pregnancy. Jade's baffled when she hears, not realizing that Luke and Noah are an item. Lily rushes out the door to search for Luke, but Lucinda stops her and tells her that Luke isn't himself today and has asked to be left alone. Lily worries that this heartbreak might make Luke return to alcohol as a support system. Little do they know, Jade has already left to track down her cousin.

At Memorial, Carrie glances over and discovers that Noah spent the night with her. He tells her that he doesn't think he can face Luke after what he's done. Carrie's flabbergasted that Noah is gay and wonders why he slept with her if he already had a boyfriend. Noah explains that Luke kept something from him and it made him feel hurt and betrayed. He resorted to a fun night out with friends, and after that, he lost all logic. Carrie advises Noah to make things right with Luke. Noah refuses, citing that Carrie just lost a child. He's not leaving her side. Meanwhile, Lily finds Holden and tells him about Luke. Holden's furious and demands they go pay Noah a visit. Across town, Jade finds Luke drunk at Yo's.

Katie's worried when she sees her uncle's trance-like state and asks what happened with Doris. She's confused as to why he kept it a secret that he was divorcing from his wife. Katie's hurt and leans on Brad for support.

Across town, Rosanna tiredly begs Paul to put down the gun. She tells him that holding his father hostage in a hotel room overnight isn't going to solve anything. James smirks that Paul doesn't have the balls to shoot him, just like he didn't have the balls to get rid of any of his enemies. Paul yells at James to shut up and openly blames him for jeopardizing Barbara's health by his wicked entrance. James asserts that he only came to town to care for his family; it's obvious they don't know how to handle themselves when he's not around. Paul gets furious and acts like he's going to pull the trigger, but his last minute resistance makes James chuckle. James tells Rosanna and Paul that without him, they have nothing. Paul laughs that they have plenty, but James thinks otherwise. He teases Rosanna and Paul, saying that without him, he won't be able to tell them what he knows about Cabot. Even in death, he still finds a way to resurface. Jack comes by and learns that James broke in earlier. Jack makes a few calls and makes arrangements for Barbara to spend the night somewhere else. Luke cries that he's been noticing Noah drifting away for some time, but he never thought that his boyfriend would get a girl pregnant and then lie about it. Jade tells Luke that he should confront Noah and then maybe he'll have some peace as to why Noah did all of this. Luke tells her that nothing in this world can excuse a liar and a cheater. Jade looks at her cousin and asks if he thinks that about her. She cheated and she lied the last time she was in Oakdale, but the only reason her family was so forgiving was because they knew what all she had been through. Perhaps, she suggests, talking to Noah will let Luke see what led him to have sex with Carrie.

Carly smiles, reminding Carrie that she has no one to answer to but herself. Carrie decides to stay in Oakdale, but stresses that she doesn't know how she'll handle Luke being mad at her. Carly tells her that what Carrie and Noah did was wrong, but Noah gave her no reason to think he was with someone. What they did was before Carrie ever knew Luke.

Working in the flower beds per Emma's command, Alison and Aaron playfully fiddle with the dirt. Aaron claims that he had a blast the other night until James showed up. Alison fears that James's return could jeopardize her family. Aaron scoffs that James has been known to pick on the Snyders and hopes that this time, it's just a family visit. He remembers hearing that James came to check on Barbara, so perhaps he has no other dastardly deeds in mind. Alison asks if Aaron's heard anything from Caleb and he replies that his dad is gone on a business trip but is still toying with the idea of returning to Oakdale. Emma comes outside with some lemonade and tells them about Luke and Noah. Aaron comments that he doesn't think Luke will be lonely long; he has an admirer he doesn't even know he has.

He asks what Emily has planned after work and invites her to come see a movie with him. Emily asks if it's a date and Dusty terms it as an "after business hours meeting with popcorn".

As he walks through the Oakdale square, Noah glances at a flyer for the cancer center opening. He yanks it down and crumbles it up, remembering the fallout after the night's festivities. He never imagined that his night with Carrie would come back to bite him in the butt. Lucinda emerges from Fashions and asks to speak with him. The two st on a bench and Lucinda sternly advises that Noah has alot of explaining to do. But first, she wants to thank him for his help at Worldwide. Without his help, they never would have been able to handle the mole crisis. Lucinda informs Noah that the vice president of WorldOne and his daughter Sherry are being investigated for fraud so they shouldn't be a problem anymore. Noah asks if Lucinda's mad at him for getting Carrie pregnant. Lucinda explains that she's not mad that he got a girl pregnant; that's his own drunken mistake. But as she continues, she explains that she is upset that Noah did it while he was still with Luke. He should have known Luke would find out and he should have never trampled over Luke's heart like he's done. Perhaps an apology is necessary, she calls out as she leaves Noah behind. Noah turns quickly and finds Holden standing right behind him. He sighs.

At Memorial, the doctor gives Jack the good news that he can go home tomorrow after they keep him for an additional 24 hours for monitoring. Jack applauds Parker for his heroic efforts, saying that if it had not have been for him, bad things might have happened. Carly goes to answer a knock at the door and reveals Kit standing on the other side. Kit issues her apologies for leaving them high and dry. She explains that she had been tailing Sam for months, well aware of his troubled wrap sheet. She was waiting for him to make his next move when Silas and Ava kidnapped J.J.

She did all she could to help, even phoning in anonymous tips to the FBI, but she couldn't do that much so as not to blow her cover with Sam. When Sam got a mysterious letter mailed to him and immediately wanted to go to Oakdale, she went with the flow. However, her boss pulled her out right before the grand opening of Metro, fearing that Sam was finally catching on. Then, last night, just as they were going to make their move, Jack called the FBI and told of his plans to take down Leonard Samuels. Upon hearing the name, the FBI knew Jack was onto Sam now too and they hurried to help Jack, but by the time they got to Metro, Parker had already crippled Sam with the bullet. Now, Sam is on his way to a federal penetentiary.

Carly asks Jack if he knew about all this, but Jack denies he did. Carly thanks Kit for all her help, but seems bitter at Kit for not helping them enough in Idaho and for waiting too long in the shadows for Sam to make a move. At Luthers Corners, friends and family gather to remember the tortured soul that was Craig Montgomery. The man lived a troubled life, fueled by his intense longing for some sort of acceptance from his family and his agonizing search to fulfill the hole in his heart that was widened by Bryant's early demise and Lucy and Johnny's absence.

Lyla cries as she watches her baby boy be remembered.

Margo speaks first. She talks of a brother that was hardly understood. Everyone took him for a man that wanted nothing but to disrupt lives and families. But Margo remembers the good times. She remembers a man that would have done anything for his family.

Katie's next. She cries that Craig was only her half-brother, but she loved him with a whole heart. She remembers how she neglected him, joining the rest of the world in turning their back on him. She didn't realize just how good of a brother he was. She often harped on the bad things that he said or did, but she never took time to appreciate him for the kind soul he really was.

Lily gets up next to speak. She flashes back to some times that she shared with Craig in the past. Just as she chokes back the tears to speak, Lucinda bursts through the doors. Lucinda asks them all if they've not forgotten the man that Craig really was. The man that did everything in his power to sabatoge this town and everyone in it. Do they not remember the man that would smile at them one second and stab them in the back the next, she protests. Lucinda angrily screams that they might all be remembering a kind man who got the short end of the stick, but he was the devil and they all know it. Lily and Margo are finally able to grab Lucinda and force her out.

As the tense air returns to normal, a musical montage of happy Craig memories plays.

As the montage starts to end, we see people laying white roses at the altar, consoling Lyla, Margo, and Katie, and then leaving. Meg scurries out wiping away tears. Later, she spies Paul and Rosanna being more cuddly than ever. To herself, Meg vows that Rosanna will regret ever spending time with Paul.

She knows Will says she hasn't changed, but Gwen explains that she knows something is different about her mother. She vows to show Will that her mother has changed. Will snps that zebras can't change their stripes. He admits that he's sickened that Gwen would let their daughter be tainted by anything so evil as Iris. Gwen hisses that this is all so ironic coming from the mouth of a former mental ward patient. Before she can take it back, Will storms out of the room and heads to bed. As Will takes up sleeping quarters on the couch again, Gwen looks at her husband longingly from the door of their bedroom. Tears flow down her face.

As Noah gets ready for bed, he hears a knock at the door. It's Luke. Luke hustles in and angrily snaps that they need to talk. Noah reasons that he slept with Carrie because he was so hurt over the fact that Luke kept secrets from him; he should have been the first to know they were denied the apartment because of Noah's murderous father, not because of them being gay. But instead, Luke kept it from him and lied to his face. He was so hurt that he got drunk and after that, he lost his head. But by the time it was over, he was so eaten with guilt that he wanted to take it all back and just hold on to the one person in this world that loves him for him: Luke. Luke's not moved by his words and hisses that Noah's been lying to his face for months now, claiming Carrie was a classmate. He forgot to leave out the part about him f*cking her!! Luke shrugs that maybe he was wrong to give his heart to someone so soon. He should have known that this was going to happen when they first met and Noah was screwing Maddie. Noah pleads with Luke to see the situation how he sees it. Luke cries that he can't see it how Noah sees it because unlike Noah, he actually knows who he is. Noah obviously doesn't. As OneRepublic's "Stop and Stare" plays, Luke packs up his things and heads out of the apartment. Noah brings Luke into a passionate kiss, but Luke shove him away. Luke storms into the parking lot and drives away as Noah watches him. He flashes back to the good times he and Luke have experienced and gasps "This can't be the end". As Luke drives, he flashes back to all of Noah's lies. Unable to restrain his emotion, he pulls over and gets out. In the middle of nowhere on a long dark road, he screams from the top of his lungs. "WHY? WHY? WHY? Why does this have to be the end?" He gasps for air. It seems to him that in that instance, the world is closing in on him without mercy.

He warns her that if she keeps baiting James, he'll keep coming back. And if she turns him down, that's when things will get ugly. Noah continues on about how he never meant to hurt Luke and reminds Luke that his feelings of betrayal are exactly what Noah felt when Luek kept the apartment fiasco from him. Luke barks that the situations are totally different. Luke kept the fact they were denied the apartment because of Colonel Mayer from Noah because he didn't want to hurt him....because he loved him. But Noah, Luke elaborates, got drunk and slept with Carrie because he wanted to. Noah claims that he kept the truth about the tryst from Luke because he didn't want to hurt him, just like Luke did with him. However, Jade chimes in that if Noah really didn't want to hurt Luke, he should have never gotten a girl pregnant. Gwen suggests they come at a better time another night, but Will insists they sit down. As Gwen goes to the ladies room, Will motions Stan from across the room. Hurriedly, he reminds Stan that the fake robbery is to be set up within a few minutes. He reminds Stan that Iris is to try a wrong combination for the safe, and after Gwen spies her mother trying to break into the safe, Stan should leave town immeidately with Iris. Stan nods and scurries off just moments before Gwen returns to Will at the bar.

Jack and Margo finish hooking up the wire to Iris. They remind her that she needs to follow Stan's directions word for word. As soon as Stan hauls off with the loot, they'll get him. Iris nods and hopes that her cooperation with the investigation will show everyone in town that she's changed...especially her daughter and son-in-law. Stan calls Iris and sets up a meeting place. As Iris rounds the corner, Stan directs her to where the safe is. As Iris grabs the combination for the safe, Stan eyes his watch and looks for the door.

Will reaches behind his chair and pulls out his phone. He looks at the time and tells Gwen how he recalls a good spot in the back. It's the perfect quiet spot for them to talk. Will reasons that the manager's on vacation and won't mind if they sit there. He looks around and sees that every waiter and bartender in the joint seems to be occupied. As Gwen rounds the corner, she sees two dark figures down the hall, crouched down. Will wonders aloud who it is and what they're doing. Kim laughs, informing them both that she's come because she needs to settle something. She continues that for months now, she's been childishly jealous of Susan and Bob working together. With Chris in prison for the actions he took against his father, she felt that Susan's own bitterness towards Chris (for loving and leaving her daughters) would negatively affect Bob. However, she finishes, now she's seen that all her hostility towards Susan has done is create a rift in her marriage. With that, Kim extends her hand to Susan. Forcing a smile, she mumbles, "Truce?" She explains that she plans on paying rent, but Lily refuses. Before the issue can be drug through the dirt, Luke comes home and asks Jade to accompany him to a concert.

Sofie cries that she's not guilty of anything except chasing her lifelong dream. Frustrated, she cries out, "Did you really think that I wanted to clean mansions for the rest of my life?" Sofie maintains that the only reason she signed with the modeling agency in Spain is because she wanted to, not because she wants to be closer to Gabe. Casey growls that he should have never introduced them. Sofie comes forward and clings to Casey. Tearfully, she begs Casey to let her do what she wants with her life. That, of all things, will prove to her that he loves her. Casey turns a cold shoulder and tells Sofie to leave. When she doesn't respond, he angrily screams for Sofie to leave. With that, she scurries out the door and hops into the waiting taxi cab. He watches, with anger and sorrow, as the taxi cab pulls out of the driveway. No doubt, he knows, it's taking her to the airport to catch a ride to Spain and out of his life forever.

He doesn't come out and Lyla suggests Margo go talk to him. Margo contemplates that she can talk to him later. Lyla breathes in deeply and spills her reason for coming. She wants Margo to head off the train before it wrecks and persuade Katie to end her engagement to Brad. Margo questions that she thought Lyla liked Brad now. Lyla admits that she has eventually warmed up to Brad, but she's worried that Katie's heart will be ripped to shreds by another faulty marriage. Sometimes, Lyla reveals, she worries that Katie only has as many moth-infested wedding dresses as she's had because she's trying to fill a hole that her father left when he died. Somehow, she reasons, Katie thinks that by marrying, she's marrying a man that will (ironically) be that father figure that she's thirsted for for so long. Margo chuckles and grabs her mother's hand. Softly, she whispers that Lyla's concerns are well founded, but she has to let Katie find out the hard truths of love on her own. She reasons that Lyla can't always be there to head off the train. Katie, meanwhile, just has to sit on the train and hope it doesn't run off the tracks. Lyla pats her daughter's hand and mutters that maybe she's right. As Lyla heads out the door, Tom comes in. Wearily, Margo suggests he go talk to his son. Tom agrees but after a failed attempt to pry him from his room, he shrugs to Margo that perhaps Casey needs time to himself.

Jade finds someone staring out of the corner of her eye and sees Kevin start to approach. Almost a warning, Jade mumbles Kevin's proximity to Luke, who surprisingly invites Kevin over. Kevin seems to be alone until a girl comes and sits beside him. Luke brushes it off and hopes Kevin has a great time. The two barely talk, but Jade can sense something silent going on between them.

Jack follows Carrie home as she pulls into the drive at Carly's. She thanks Jack for being so protective, but blushing, tells him she can handle three steps to the porch. Jack goes in anyways and informs Carly that Carrie had someone following her in Oldtown. Carrie shrugs it off as nothing and pretends like Jack is overreacting. Later, Noah comes by and requests to speak with Carrie. At first, Carly almost closes the door on him, but Carrie stops her and welcome him in. Shamefully, he admits that he treated her wrong. He should have never led her on like he did that night. He was drunk and upset and his head was somewhere else. Carrie smiles that he doesn't owe her anything, but Noah puts his hand on hers and mumbles that he does. They were having a child together and he acted like she didn't exist. He mutters that he knows what it feels like to feel abandoned and he would have changed alot if he could. After Noah leaves, Carly applauds Carrie on her gracious acceptance of Noah's apology. Carrie sighs that she knows Noah's mindset is a bit jumbled; she's been there, but he'll have to live with his pain for a long time if he doesn't learn to forgive himself first. As Carrie takes off her robe, she receives a text..."We need to talk. And don't bring the cop. Or you know what will happen".

As the concert comes to a close, Aaron spots Jade, Kevin, and Kevin's female friend waiting for Luke in the parking lot. Jade excuses herself, and the girl too, but Jade stays in ear range as Aaron and Kevin talk. Aaron chastises Kevin for bringing a girl when he knows Luke already thinks of him as a homophobic womanizer. Kevin laughs that the mystery girl is his niece of one year age difference and he brought her to the concert to meet up with her boyfriend who never showed. Aaron apologizes, but Kevin barks that Aaron should mind his own business. He'll tell Luke in his own time, Kevin says. Meanwhile, Luke approaches and asks Jade what's going on. Jade lies and says she doesn't know, almost daring Luke to go find out why his brother and his ex-best friend seem to be in a heated talk. Across the parking lot, Alison drags a drunk Casey to her car and orders him to stay there. She scolds him for getting too drunk and promises he'll regret it in the morning. As Alison goes to find Aaron, Casey unpacks a bottle of sleeping pills he smuggled from an old college friend. He chases two down with a swig of beer and sighs that if drunkenness won't rid his mind of Sofie, perhaps sleep will. Casey passes out moments before Alison and Aaron get in the car. They blame his passing out on all the beer he's had, but when they pull up to his house, they can't wake him up. Frantically, Alison rushes in and wakes up Tom. Alison nervously pants for Tom to come quick....Casey's stopped breathing. While Tom performs CPR, the ambulance arrives to take Casey to the hospital.
