Bob is floored that his son would believe that he's got eyes for Susan again and tells Tom that he only wants what's best for Susan. Unfortunately, he doesn't think her cozying up to the new cancer specialist in town will be well liked by Michael's clingy soon to be ex. Tom reminds his father that Susan might be his colleague and his friend, but she's a big girl that can make her own decisions.

Casey returns home to help Margo with supper, but realizes that his mom is out. He takes the break from his parents with joy and kicks back to relax. A knock comes at the door and he's stunned to see Sofie and Gabe on the other side. Sofie says that the photo shoot was amazing, but she had to come home and surprise him. Gabe thanks Sofie for her hard work and promises to get back in touch with her soon in regards to what they talked about. After he leaves, Casey asks Sofie what Gabe was talking about. Sofie directs him to the couch and tells him that while in Spain, she was approached by an elite modeling agency in Portugal and they're interested in signing her but only if she moves there. Casey forbids it, but Sofie tells Casey that she's already accepted the offer. She leaves next week. Casey becomes furious and tells Sofie not to wait up as he slams the door behind him.

Carly arrives at the hospital and finds Carrie in a bucket of tears. As Carrie flips through old family photos, Carly sympathetically pats her on the back and asks if she can call anyone for her. Carrie sobs that she has no one; her dad is a pompous jerk and shunned her a long time ago. Carly apologizes for bringing the photo album and remarks that she meant to bring a photo album of the kids. She must have picked up Carrie's by mistake. As Carrie tucks it away, a photo falls to the floor. Carrie snaps for Carly not to touch it, but Carly already has the dropped photo in her hands. It's a picture of Jennifer. Carly's confused, but tucks it back in the album like she never saw it. The doctor comes in and tells Carrie she's free to go. As they gather her things, Carrie thanks Carly for being such a great friend. Carly nods and forces a smile, still baffled by the photo of Jennifer.

Jack chuckles at Brad's accusation of jealousy. He smirks that he hopes things work out with him and Katie; but he knows from experience that Katie's a force to reckon with. Brad chimes in that he's ready for the challenge and bows up to Jack. Jack take his exit as Emma calms Brad down. Later, Jack arrives at the hospital and learns from a nurse that Carrie's been released. He goes to Carly's and she clues him in about the picture of Jennifer. Jack vows to figure it out, but Carly begs him to do it discreetly. She wants to find out why Carrie would have a picture of Jennifer, but she doesn't want her to find out that she knows about the picture.

As Lyla yells at Michael to leave Oakdale, Margo calms her down. Neither her nor Katie tell their mother of Katie's engagement, fearing Lyla won't take it well. Michael learns from a deputy that Doris is being booked and will probably have to serve time for what she did. Michael's relieved and thanks Margo and Katie for all that they've done. Margo shocks him when she steps forward and tells him to take control of his life. He reasons that he has no control over his nutty wife, but Margo sternly replies that Michael's dysfunctional marriage has threatened her life and the lives of her mother and sister for the first and last time. As Margo, Katie, and Lyla leave, Katie turns to share a glance at her uncle. He mouths the words "Thank you" to her and she smiles.

Gwen comes home and finds Will fast asleep. She tucks Hallie into bed and sings a lullaby to her, hushing her daughter to sleep and waking Will. Will rests his hand on Gwen's shoulder. Both stand in silence as they watch their daughter sleep. Will comments that he was worried about her; she lied and told him she was with her sister. Gwen stiffly replies that she went to the church and did some praying. She turns to face Will and tells him that for months now, she's been taking Hallie to see Iris. She knows Will says she hasn't changed, but Gwen explains that she knows something is different about her mother. She vows to show Will that her mother has changed. Will snps that zebras can't change their stripes. He admits that he's sickened that Gwen would let their daughter be tainted by anything so evil as Iris. Gwen hisses that this is all so ironic coming from the mouth of a former mental ward patient. Before she can take it back, Will storms out of the room and heads to bed. As Will takes up sleeping quarters on the couch again, Gwen looks at her husband longingly from the door of their bedroom. Tears flow down her face.

As Noah gets ready for bed, he hears a knock at the door. It's Luke. Luke hustles in and angrily snaps that they need to talk. Noah reasons that he slept with Carrie because he was so hurt over the fact that Luke kept secrets from him; he should have been the first to know they were denied the apartment because of Noah's murderous father, not because of them being gay. But instead, Luke kept it from him and lied to his face. He was so hurt that he got drunk and after that, he lost his head. But by the time it was over, he was so eaten with guilt that he wanted to take it all back and just hold on to the one person in this world that loves him for him: Luke. Luke's not moved by his words and hisses that Noah's been lying to his face for months now, claiming Carrie was a classmate. He forgot to leave out the part about him f*cking her!! Luke shrugs that maybe he was wrong to give his heart to someone so soon. He should have known that this was going to happen when they first met and Noah was screwing Maddie. Noah pleads with Luke to see the situation how he sees it. Luke cries that he can't see it how Noah sees it because unlike Noah, he actually knows who he is. Noah obviously doesn't. As OneRepublic's "Stop and Stare" plays, Luke packs up his things and heads out of the apartment. Noah brings Luke into a passionate kiss, but Luke shove him away. Luke storms into the parking lot and drives away as Noah watches him. He flashes back to the good times he and Luke have experienced and gasps "This can't be the end". As Luke drives, he flashes back to all of Noah's lies. Unable to restrain his emotion, he pulls over and gets out. In the middle of nowhere on a long dark road, he screams from the top of his lungs. "WHY? WHY? WHY? Why does this have to be the end?" He gasps for air. It seems to him that in that instance, the world is closing in on him without mercy.

[Fade out.]

Love, Love that ending with Luke and Noah.

I'm really enjoying the Will and Gwen stuff as well.
