I agree with this and the rest of your post.
Still, I'd add a word of caution about thinking that BTG is now doing better than GH. GH continually does big numbers on Hulu/Disney+, and it feels as if a good portion of their audience has migrated to streaming.
We don't know how BTG does in streaming, because Paramount+ doesn't include the soaps in their rankings. Paramount+ does have a much smaller subscriber base than Hulu/Disney+, however.
Bottom line is that even with the mess GH has been with all these changes and transitions lately, I still think it's doing better than BTG overall.
