Favourite New Music/Song This Week

It's pretty simple. If you're anything like me, you love music and b/c I love music I have many favourites. These favourites usually change from week to week or so.

For example, last week my fave song was, Over My Head by The Fray, and this week I can't get enough of, Babe I'm Gonna leave You by Led Zeppelin.

So with that said, what is your favourite song this week?

"Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" is one of my favorite songs. Led Zeppelin I is an amazing album. My favorite LZ album is IV. I like "Black Dog" and "Going To California", and of course "Stairway To Heaven" is on that album.

I rarely listen to new music, so I don't really have any picks. Monday morning, though, I woke up to the radio playing "Highway To Hell" by AC/DC, so I guess that could be my song of the week.

Also, was in the mood to listen to The Who, especially "I Can't Explain"

I never really have a song of the week..more like obsessions that last for about a month or so. LOL. I am soo into Hot Hot Heat right now..I can't stop listening to them. I was a fan before and saw them at Edgefest in Toronto a month ago but for some reason, my obsession grew after I saw them in Edmonton just a little over a week ago..I think the fact that I met Steve Bays and he was an absolute doll helped! :D My favourite song by them is in my signature but other songs I love by them are "Middle of Nowhere", "Ladies & Gentlemen", "Elevator", and "Get In or Get Out".

I love Hot Hot Heat. I'm so happy they're fellow Canadians. My favourite song by them is Middle of Nowhere or Bandages.

Cool! Oohh...I love "Bandages" as well! I remember seeing the video for the first time...it was interesting to say the least. Supposedly, the song got banned in the UK for political reasons but if they had bothered to watch the video, they would have known that the song had absolutely nothing to do with some anti-war campaign.

Oh, and I met the entire band by accident! After the show in Edmonton, I went to get a souvenir but noticed an unusually long lineup and thought, "Maybe they're lined up for what I think they're lined up for.." and I went all the way to the back of the line. I don't remember if I was pushed further to the front or if I walked up to see what was really going on but as soon as I did, this lady counted me as "50" and cut off everyone behind me!! She told everyone that the cutoff line was behind me and that the band was only signing 50 autographs! :o I was in semi-shock and felt bad for everyone who had been cut off but then again, not really!
