"Nobody's Watching" was a pilot that NBC didn't pick up in 2005, but after getting great buzz from YouTube.com, NBC has decided to put the show back in development.

After watching the pilot, I think if it's picked up, the show could be a huge hit. I for one think the show is hilarious and very innovative. The cameos are funny too.

If you like sitcoms, I think you'll enjoyed it. I did. :)

I loved it! It was hilarious. As a Battlestar Galactica fan, I loved seeing Paul Campbell doing comedy.

I'm sure the modified pilot will include references to NBC being in 4th and maybe even a reference to the show not getting picked up by the WB  I can't wait for it, I'm sure NBC will pair it up with Scrubs when it returns in January

I'm making a prediction right now --- within the next few years, there will be a network that puts every single pilot in development online *before* announcing their fall schedule and will let the general public vote on what their new shows should be based on their viewings of the pilot. It could be the ultimate reality show. They could do a special evening show onair where they introduce the series, go through elimination rounds, meet the actors and performers of the various series, etc. I could see it happening.

I liked it...but I'm confused. They're developing a sitcom...but they're a reality show on a sitcom sound stage...and the audience is there TWENTY FOUR/SEVEN?! It was really funny, and I liked how the writers of the show 'got' the industry (one of my favorite 'smart' references was the joke about not calling it "Nobody's Watching" because the critics who pan the show would use that reference as an insult), but like I said, I don't quite get what it's about, lol.

    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
