July 22, 200619 yr Administrator "Nobody's Watching" was a pilot that NBC didn't pick up in 2005, but after getting great buzz from YouTube.com, NBC has decided to put the show back in development. After watching the pilot, I think if it's picked up, the show could be a huge hit. I for one think the show is hilarious and very innovative. The cameos are funny too. If you like sitcoms, I think you'll enjoyed it. I did. July 29, 200619 yr Member LMAO! I only watched the first part and it is SWEET!! lol It's really hilarious.
July 29, 200619 yr Member I loved it! It was hilarious. As a Battlestar Galactica fan, I loved seeing Paul Campbell doing comedy. I'm sure the modified pilot will include references to NBC being in 4th and maybe even a reference to the show not getting picked up by the WB I can't wait for it, I'm sure NBC will pair it up with Scrubs when it returns in January
July 29, 200619 yr Member Hahahaha! I'm only like four minutes into it and think its better than ANYTHING NBC has put on in three seasons.
July 29, 200619 yr Member I'm making a prediction right now --- within the next few years, there will be a network that puts every single pilot in development online *before* announcing their fall schedule and will let the general public vote on what their new shows should be based on their viewings of the pilot. It could be the ultimate reality show. They could do a special evening show onair where they introduce the series, go through elimination rounds, meet the actors and performers of the various series, etc. I could see it happening.
July 29, 200619 yr Member I liked it...but I'm confused. They're developing a sitcom...but they're a reality show on a sitcom sound stage...and the audience is there TWENTY FOUR/SEVEN?! It was really funny, and I liked how the writers of the show 'got' the industry (one of my favorite 'smart' references was the joke about not calling it "Nobody's Watching" because the critics who pan the show would use that reference as an insult), but like I said, I don't quite get what it's about, lol.
