This isn't even a storyline! It's just a new set that some of the younger guys will hangout at during the summer. The sex, hooking up, and everything else was all made up/assumed/propaganda for anti-AMC'ers to use to trash the show even more. That's all.

Yes, it'll just be the new bar bc many people are connected to Fusion now and SOS is outdated - also a new set is NICE - especially after hearing so many people complain about how tired they are of the sets. So people should just be happy for now and make judgement when it hits the TV screens.

And Kylie, I don't want to start anything - bc everyone has their opinion and you love Susan Lucci and Erica Kane as much as I do, so you have to be cool as a person regardless....but IMO you're anti-AMC if you loathe the show and don't watch it. Granted you may have liked the show in the past and are still willing to watch it in the future if things you want start happening, but again currently you're anti-AMC by loathing and not watching IMO. Any executive or anyone involved with the production of AMC would be disappointed and consider you against the show if you're not giving it a chance. I just consider the term 'loyal fan' to be with the show through good and bad times, through thick and thin (even though I think 2006 has been good).

Again just my opinion, and I don't want to start anything with anyone...just had to get that off my chest.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion around here which is what makes SON so great. The posters constantly bashing AMC are anti-AMC currently, so I do agree with Andy in that respect. You can be fans of the show in the past but currently you are anti-AMC.

I continue to watch because well I don't take it as seriously as I once did because there is no point these days because all shows have been watered down especially on ABC with the mighty Frons stepping in watering them down even more. I just enjoy them foe what they are and still get enjoyment out of watching them. Call me weird but I just do.

ETA: So many of you are calling for McTavish's head and in alot of ways I am one of them but I am still not convinced things will be much better under a new HW... I dunno I just see Frons as too much of a busy body to let a writer do whatever she/he wants. There are too many hands in the cookie jar on the ABC shows.... mcT deserves blame but so do alot of others do. Just have to wait and see I guess.

You're not starting anything. A lot of people believe that if you stop watching you're Anti. but I don't. I believe that I can and do love the show as much as anyone else. An anti-AMCer would be someone who. IMO, would be giving up on it, and believing that it can never be fixed, nor should it be. And I gotta tell ya, I miss this show more then I can say. AMC has been a part of my life since I took my first breath, and I haven't watched a full week in 5 months. Not because I think it's trash and I want it off my screen...because the AMC I once knew and loved, isn't there anymore. It's a shell of what it once was. It's a plot point mess, and the heart of characters I grew up with, are gone, and they've been replaced with pod characters I don't recognize. I believe that I show my support of AMC, by not watching. By not giving McTrash the "okay" to do as she sees fit. She can run amock if she chooses, but I won't sit by and watch her do it. Period.

If it is David who saves Erica next week, I won't be watching. And I have seen every David/Erica scene since 1998. And I don't see that as not loving them, or AMC. I see it as loving both of them enough to say "enough is enough". I refuse to watch MMT ruin this show, it is as simple as that.

I don't think he was meaning ti signal you out Kylie. He just is speaking about people making negative comments in general. LIke I said we all have our own opinions. I won't ridicule you for yours even though I don't agree with it. Sometimes me and Andy feel as if we are the only positive voices on this board about AMC, and sometimes emotions boil over.

Lol, I know, I just felt the need to speak my piece. I just wanted to get out how a lot of people I talk to, who don't watch anymore feel. It hurts for someone to think that I don't love AMC, just because I hate it at the moment. I wouldn't give up David and Erica just because I was pissed off at the show.lol So you have to know that there is really something to this, with me at least.

I personally think it's great that you can be positive. AMC isn't all bad, and there needs to be people who make people like me remember that. I've just had enough. It started with David turning on Bianca (something he would NEVER do), and ended with Josh.

This is no surprise that I don't respond to Marland's posts anymore as there usually is no substance, it's just a quick one-liner/jab for him to bash AMC or any soap for that matter, and to create unnecessary drama for his personal kicks.

As for laughing stock though - it sure as hell isn't AMC, and I don't believe it's GH. If you want to know what the INDUSTRY feels is the laughing stock - just look at which soaps are never nominated for anything. That isn't what majority of soap fans believe, but I think that tells you what the actual soap industry believes...and that's a huge shame bc I love one of those shows for the most part.
