Daytime Broadcast Ratings For The Week of March 30-April 3, 2026

Need To Know

  • “The Bold and the Beautiful” ranked No. 1 among soaps in Women 18-49 for the first time in five weeks (excluding ties), topping “The Young and the Restless.”
  • “Let’s Make a Deal” saw week-to-week and year-over-year gains among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54.
  • “TODAY 3rd Hour” and “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” both saw substantial week-to-week gains among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54.

During the week of March 30-April 3, 2026, CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” was up week-to-week by +0.04 among Women 18-49 (0.26 rating) and +0.07 among Women 25-54 (0.39 rating), marking the first time in five weeks (excluding ties) that the half-hour series ranked first among soaps in Women 18-49, topping lead-in “The Young and the Restless” (0.26 rating vs. 0.23 rating). Meanwhile, the two dramas were neck and neck among Women 25-54, with the hour-long series topping its lead-out by just +0.01 (0.40 rating vs. 0.39 rating).

Among Total Viewers, “The Bold and the Beautiful” attracted the largest week-to-week gain across daytime broadcast, up +231,000, and was up +169,000 viewers year-over-year. “The Young and the Restless” averaged more than three million viewers for the 10th consecutive week, up +22,000 week-to-week and +129,000 year-over-year.

The second half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” was up by +0.01 and +0.03, respectively, week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.25 rating vs. 0.24 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.40 rating vs. 0.037 rating). Compared to the same week last year, the program was also up +0.02 and +0.05, respectively, among Women 18-49 (0.25 rating vs. 0.23 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.40 rating vs. 0.35 rating), while gaining +255,000 viewers year-over-year (2.586 million vs. 2.331 million). The first half-hour of the game show was up +0.02 week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.23 rating vs. 0.21 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.35 rating vs. 0.33 rating). It saw year-over-year gains of +0.02 and +0.04, respectively, among Women 18-49 (0.23 rating vs. 0.21 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.35 rating vs. 0.31 rating), and was up +178,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (2.163 million vs. 1.985 million).

“Beyond the Gates” was up +0.05 and +0.04, respectively, week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating vs. 0.13 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.27 rating vs. 0.23 rating). The series, which was recently renewed for two additional seasons at CBS, averaged 1.641 million viewers, up +23,000 week-to-week and +19,000 year-over-year, marking the fourth consecutive week of year-over-year gains.

“General Hospital” continued to attract more than two million viewers for the 13th time in 14 weeks, averaging 2.031 million viewers, down 108,000 week-to-week, but marking the second-largest year-over-year gain among Total Viewers across daytime broadcast, up +220,000. That said, excluding ESPN on ABC sports coverage of the MLB Wildcard Series games, which aired during the week of September 29-October 3, 2025, that saw substantial preemptions for the daytime drama series, and ABC including repeat broadcasts into the show’s weekly average, “General Hospital” tied its season and series low among Women 25-54 (0.21 rating), topping only its lead-in, “GMA3,” in the key sales demographic (0.21 rating vs. 0.16 rating). Meanwhile, with its 0.15 rating among “Women 18-49, the long-running soap opera was barely ahead of “GMA3” and “NBC News Daily,” both of which tied for last place, each with a 0.13 rating. The show’s 1.3 rating in Households marked the first time since the week of January 19-23, 2026, that the drama series had fallen below 1.4.

Beginning August 31, 2020, national ratings include Out-of-Home (OOH) viewing. Previously, ratings did not include OOH viewing. Averages are based on regular telecasts.
