I watched a few episodes of Good Times recently and I realized how melodramatic Thelma Evans (Bern Nadette Stanis) could be, especially when it involved boyfriends. When she left Ebe she walked out the door while her family was still in his apartment, lol. That said, Good Times was full of soapy moments.

On Golden Girls there was a scene where Dorothy said she felt she felt like she was on "Ryan's Hope" when she was telling off her married boyfriend.
