Ohh thank you! That's good (and even a Brenda reference haha). I have to imagine back in 2010, for daytime, this was probably pretty taboo/pushing the boundaries.

Soaps had had graphic attempted rape prison stories from the '70s through the '90s. This was more challenging in the sense that they went further with Michael's rape, but they were more low-key with the moment.

(this story was later extensively retconned due to the show's love of the Franco character - originally, Franco was the one who ordered Michael to be raped)

Ahh interesting! I don't recall hearing about or seeing stories about men being raped in prison on daytime, but I guess I wasn't watching the right shows haha. Ugh, I don't generally love retcons.

Nathan sure was acting fishy there at the end of today's episode! I knew there had to be more to his return.

I see the show wants to make fans hate Trina by having her accuse Michael of the shooting.

(maybe that isn't the goal but this being one of her very few moments of story in ages makes me wary)

I don't think Michael's the shooter, so I imagine that there's a twist coming soon and I can't wait to see it! Rory Gibson continued to kill it today. You really feel the emotion with him whenever he's playing it, no matter what it is.

Carly and Valentin are still as DOA as the ADA.

And yeah, this is a nitpick but Liz needs to start using the name Webber again 😂

Won't work 😂😂

I feel like they kinda made a mistake by having Trina and Kai be at the scene when Drew was shot. I'd much rather they had been suspects. The two of them being suspicious towards each other would have been a good conflict for them.

I never took to Elizabeth Baldwin as her name so I'm happy for her to revert to Webber. If anything its the best name for her. Elizabeth Lansing was weird, and I liked Elizabeth Spencer but I always like a Webber still on the show as its a good glue to GH's early history.

Her still having Baldwin feels like someone still wanting to memorialize Howarth/Franco lol. I get why she has it but I would've set her back to Webber a while ago.

Ugh I hate how good Alexis is at her job. And what’s with no one lying on the stand anymore?! Suddenly everyone’s super honest after all this work to give Michael an alibi.

I have always believed it's Willow and still do. Just as I believe Alexis will get her off. They've kept Willow's current character motivations too close to the vest for awhile now for this specific reason IMO, and I think it's time to unmask her feelings to us at least. She should be actively framing Michael, or someone.

If not for the Gio pairing I would have said pair Joss with Emma, but no way the show would ever go there with two women viewers watched grow up onscreen (albeit with different actors).

I like Emma and Gio, but the idea of Joss/Emma together is certainly interesting, especially if Robin were to return to the canvas.

I kind of thought Emma was at least suspicious that Joss was WSB after Vaughn outed himself, and she thought Joss might have slipped her the info about Dalton's second lab, so I'm kind of surprised she went to Brennan for help. You'd think Anna would have told Emma to stay away from him.

And this Vaughn guy is not gonna change things at all.

Is Vaughn even still on the show?

Will Kristina's actions ever be exposed?

Will Willow's gaslighting of Sasha ever come out?

Man, this show is frustrating.

We are two or three days away from finally learning the identity of the shooter. It feels like we should all be making our predictions.

My money is on Molly. If Sam had the same ringtone for Scout that Drew does, Molly might have decided to use it too. She is preparing to do some scenes with Nathan related to the case. I wonder if they will evoke memories of Laura's trial for killing Damien Smith, when we learned that Justus (Laura's lawyer) was the one who killed Damien, and we saw him remembering what he did, while he was describing to the jury what he thought had actually happened that night. Maybe while Molly is working the case, we will see her remembering what she did.

I thought the show was veering away from "fake Nathan" until the end of the show today.

Dante made a pretty big deal out of Nathan messing up the evidence chain of custody, and that seems like it might be a sign that this isn't Nathan -- because would a great detective do something like that?

Of course, we also have to forget all the mistakes that Dante makes.

And by the way, Ryan Paevey is beautiful.
