Lauralee Bell, Michael Damian, The Young and the Restless

As fans prepare for the highly anticipated second wedding between Cricket and Danny on “The Young and the Restless,” airing Friday, November 21 and Monday, November 24, the long-running daytime drama series is set to rebroadcast the couple’s first wedding in its entirety on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 27), which was originally aired 35 years ago (November 16, 1990).

In honor of the celebratory event, cast members Lauralee Bell (Christine “Cricket” Blair) and Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti) participated in a “Look Back” at their characters’ Hawaiian wedding, with the actors providing commentary on various moments from the classic episode, including how the weather impacted scenes, what was going through their minds as they filmed and much more.

The last time the wedding episode was broadcast was on June 16, 2020, when the soap opera aired a week of wedding-themed episodes.

In addition to Cricket and Danny’s nuptials, the episode also features Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) keeping a secret from Victor (Eric Braeden).

Check out the “Look Back” featurette below.

I enjoy reaction videos and have always wanted there to be a daytime soap edition. I wish more soaps would do these types of video reactions by the actors.

Now that P&G has dipped their toes back into the world of daytime drama, I wish they would allow that with some of their clips from their classic shows. Hm.🤔

Makes sense but would be more fun to see something that hadn't been shown during the pandemic. I also would love to see more reaction videos of pivotal scenes.

Thank you for this. I love the idea of a reaction video for that. I also love that I now have a date to watch. ;)
