On “Beyond the Gates,” the fallout from Ted’s (Keith D. Robinson) recent entanglement with Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) leads to a confrontation between the soiled doctor and his wife, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix), who exposes his indiscretion to Anita (Tamara Tunie). Elsewhere, Martin’s (Brandon Claybon) latest action leads to further disarray in his marriage to Smitty (Mike Manning).

While on vacation, Dani (Karla Mosley) and Andre (Sean Freeman) receive a shock. Meanwhile, Joey (Jon Lindstrom) plots to take Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) out of town, hoping to provide cover and an alibi. Jacob (Jibre Hordges) is forced to share devastating news. Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley (Marquita Goings) deal with the repercussions.

Looks like both June and Jacob are alive, so what is Naomi's "heartbreaking loss"?  I guess it's not a person. Does Naomi lose a legal case?
