Soap Opera Network has since learned that the awards show will return to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium with the ceremony streaming live beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT.

As previously reported, the organization will hold a single ceremony celebrating everyone in front of and behind the camera. In previous years, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which primarily honored those working behind the scenes, took place on a separate date, either before or after the main televised ceremony.

Errol, any idea if the Creative Arts categories will be made throughout the show, or do you think they will all be done during the first portion?  And have they said how long the whole ceremony will be? Not sure I'm down to watch a 4+ hour live show or something...

It's supposed to be three hours, but I expect it to be four or five hours, though, since there are no commercials, I would think it will be more in line with four hours in length.

They won't share the order of when the categories will be announced. I presume it'll be scattered as it wouldn't make sense to share that information, nor should they start with the creatives and then reveal the major categories that fans actually care about and are tuning in for later on.

Note: This is not me being rude about the matter. It's just a fact. Fans only care about what they see on screen, not the behind-the-scenes stuff.

It's dumb airing these in October, right as the new season's are airing for TV. that's probably why CBS didn't air the show, they are having season premiere's of their shows this week starting tonight

Thanks for the information, Errol!

Four hours sounds good to me! 😊☺️

4 or 5 hours??? Just no.

I was going to watch a 2-hour Emmys. I am not sitting through 4 to 5 hours, even though I'm kind of addicted to awards shows.

I'll be checking on the winners and trashing the results as usual, but I'd rather watch the clips of the categories I want to see.

I don't feel like watching this year... I'll just read a book and then check the topics here to see who won.

If they’ve packed more than just patience for a five-hour ceremony, things may get interesting. Keep me posted if the mood turns messy.
