First, thank you getting me to Google this great scene. Fun to see Brooke in the Stephanie role. Brooke's problem was that she perceived Maya to be deceiving Rick, so I don't get the comparison.

The only characters I could realistically see having a problem with their child being gay in 2025 are Li because she's a control freak who probably planned out Finn's life during labor, and maybe Bill. But I think they'd both accept it quickly.

You are welcome! There were many scenes with Brooke and Maya on that topic. Brooke's attitude was often disturbing to me... with strong transphobic undertones IMO. Her tone when saying 'transgender' was filled with disgust. But even that felt more authentic to the show's "nature". I mean... the absence of gay males for four decades isn't just a coincidence, right? You may also remember that offensive homophobic storyline where Bill showed Brooke pictures of Ridge at a gay pride event and then they were talking about him like he was no longer a "real" man. It was shocking to me then and still is now.

I just think it feels disingenuous now to pretend everything is fine with Deke. But we'll see. Time will tell.

LMAO, I had no idea that was a plot point, I'll have to check that out. Even if it doesn't always lead to the best stories, I do like that Bill is fallible and that the show didn't make him into some genius antagonist.

IMO Bill suffered the curse of Brooke Logan's vagina. Meaning that he lost his authenticity and personality when they dragged him through the gutter with Brooke. He was waaay more interesting before becoming just one of Brooke's scandals.

And having Deacon and Deke not be at odds with each other is a missed opportunity, but it was nice seeing them catch up.

Talk about a headscratcher! It would be so much more interesting to have Deke not be in contact with Deacon or Hope all this time and to hold resentments. I swear, ChatGPT could write this show better.

The worst rewrite of the past few seasons was making Luna Finn's daughter.

yep and all to give Sheila a grown granddaughter. Sick of Brad catering to KB's wants. That's the whole reason Finn was under the damn bus last year cause she wanted Sheila to have a "relationship with her son" still pisses me off

Oh, so now it's Kimberlin Brown who dictates story on B&B? Silly me, I thought it was KKL who always got what she wanted.   🤔

Poor Brad. Just think how much better the show would be if he didn't have to placate some troublesome actresses all the time. Maybe then he could give more focus to the sadly underutilized and overlooked Steffy.

🙄 of course you bring up Steffy who no one was even talking about but nice deflection 🙄

She was literally on social media and in interviews saying how Sheila should have a relationship with her son, then not long after boom it happened. Brad and Casey are literal besties with her

Your whole post is beyond ridiculous

the ONLY reason they've kept Sheila around is cause she's besties with Brad and Casey. They've literally put no effort into redeeming Sheila

You mean like you often bring up Brooke when no one's talking about her?

Nice try.

Right cause I have mentioned Brooke recently? Oh wait I haven't

Nice try though, I bring her up when she's mentioned or she's on

But again nice deflection lmao

So easily triggered by literally nothing *smdh*
