I'm down for fashion wars. Brooke should go with Nick and re-start the Marone fashion house with him. Go against chauvinist pig Ridge and mousy Taylor.

I want Ridge to fall. He should get some type of reputation ruining scandal that makes him a total social recluse... This rapist-chauvinist-pig doesn't deserve sympathy. I'm sick of the Ridge propping on this show. The FAKE Ridge.

LOL sure

Brooke has done belief then what? She slept her way to the top literally
Steffy saved this company multiple times thanks to Eric and Logan's losing it to Bill etc

Hope got handed a line out of high school to punish Steffy, Katie has done what exactly? Other than cry and be the town crier

What has Brooke done to contribute other than trying to seduce married men and putting a mattress in FC to seduce married Ridge away from Taylor

Does Brooke's Bedroom ring a bell for instance? One of the most successful lines ever from FC, and it was created by Brooke. Let's not pretend that Brooke didn't run that company for years and years and did so very successfully.

Was Brooke the one in charge when Nick took over the company? No, that was the Forresters. Was Brooke the one in charge when Bill took over the company? No, that was the Forresters. When Brooke was in charge the company was stable and successful.

I've been completely over Ridge FOR YEARS. I don't get these two women throwing themselves at him. For what??? He's a wishy-washy, non-committal narcissist.  I don't see the appeal...at all!

I've thought Ridge dying would be a way to help reset the show and free both Brooke and Taylor once and for all from that mess of a man.

Ridge is a complete pig for how he has always treated Brooke and Taylor. When Krista Allen was in the role, I wanted her Taylor and Brooke to hook up.

But the way he's been written to treat Hope in the past year is a new low. This is someone he helped raise as a daughter and so freely calls names while excusing Carter. The writers were even worse for having Brooke trash Hope too rather than defend her. I don't care if Hope was in the wrong. None of Ridge's criticisms were about business but deeply personal and he was written and portrayed as not having any lingering affection for Hope but pure hatred.

Ridge is the biggest man slut in the universe. He has no right to call anyone a bitch or a whore. Brooke should have NEVER, I MEAN NEVER turned back to him in the way she did. Brooke basically died for me when she forgave him and begged him after he called her child like that.

I don't have children (I'm still too young for that

), but if some day I have... and anyone calls my child names like this... they will wish they NEVER met me. Brooke acted like a doormat. And is a now... a corpse of a character. Not that she was anything particularly interesting in the few years before this... she hasn't been given anything for the past 10 years... but 2025 is her ultimate LOW. Non-stop doormat, idiotic behavior.

I hope somehow Brooke gets back to being more of a bitch in the future. KKL should stop crying in these scenes and channel Brooke circa 1993 where she kicked ass and made OTHER people cry. But of course... someone HAS to write that... And we don't have a writer at Bold. This is practically a show without a head writer. It's surviving on auto-pilot, nostalgia and being 18 minutes.

Totally agree. When Ridge called Hope a whore Brooke should have slapped him into next week and kicked his sorry ass into the Pacific. The fact that she not only did not do that and instead continued to beg him to come back is some of the worst writing Brad Bell has ever done.

She should have pushed him off a balcony and never to be seen again, except in the finale when Ronn Moss comes for 5 minutes to wrap this drivel up. Hashtag-FreeBrooke!

I couldn't agree more about Brooke almost being ruined for me. When Ridge said those horrible things about Hope, the Brooke we all know and love would have NEVER tolerated that. I wanted Brooke to move into the Stephanie type of character mode at this point in the characters life. Stephanie was a doormat for Eric too, but she still came off as someone with dignity.

So I guess they will try to paint Luna raping Will as him being drunk and making a "mistake".

    • Some of those 1988-ish episodes are up. I'm not really sure she did much else. I think I recall something along the lines of she and Rusty had been suspended over the investigation of Nicky, George's supplier. I'm not sure she even gets some kind of goodbye. I think she just disappeared when Pam Long returned.
    • I did not care, just clarifying that was the discussion point. If there are ice cream bars in Statesville I am sure there is a full spa
    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
