So Sidwell bribed tge judge. I am intrigued.

So am I. That is a twist I never saw coming!

I'd been worried that the show might run out of steam now that we've had some big reveals in the two frontburner storylines: Gio's paternity and the Willow/Michael custody battle. But I feel like they're doing a pretty good job of laying the groundwork for future storylines. I'm even now a bit more invested in the Curtis/Portia portion of the show now that Jordan had that conversation to Anna about contemplating if she wants Curtis back.

I wasn't watching in that period so I had no idea they'd done jokes about it for years. I'd think a gay producer would know better than to have that type of material on a show mostly for straight viewers, but clearly not.

It wasn't jokes, it was a legitimate (but clunky and stereotypical, IMO) subplot where the characters (Liz, Serial Killer Franco, etc.) wondered and fretted over little Aiden possibly being gay and teased/bullied for it because of his non-masculine interests and how to talk to him about it, protect him, etc. It fell by the wayside, likely because it was so awkwardly done and the kid in the role was very young (not a tween). IIRC Charlotte bullied him for awhile. Then it resurfaced when they made one of the last teen/tween Aidens gay.

They did the coming out scenes with JJ because they'd recast with an actor over 18. The two Aidens in the role previously were teenagers. IIRC the Lucky scenes aired shortly before November.

Very. Perhaps that is why I have very little issue with it as well due to 90210. Heck, it was a running joke for decades. Let me add Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill to that list.

It always bothered me as a child that Chad Michael Murray played a college character on Dawson’s Creek then went to playing a high school character on One Tree Hill so I didn’t watch it 😂

I will never get over watching Models Inc where Brian Gaskill played the early-mid 20s fashion exec son of Linda Gray. He gets fired from the show, turns up maybe six months later on AMC at the damn Pine Valley High as Bobby Warner hanging out in a letterman's jacket opening some lockers, looking like Steve Buscemi on 30 Rock. I was about 15 and lost my mind. I was used to soap teens/tweens being Robin, Lucky, Jessica Buchanan, etc. so I'd never seen them try that with 'teens' on soaps at that early viewing age lol

Ooooo looks like I'll be jumped ahead again. hehe. I assume he will be maked up to cover his tatts.

There was a video on Facebook recently where Rory is sitting on a chair in the makeup department having his tattoos covered.

You missed out on some mess and iconic moments. ;)

But if it makes you feel better James Lafferty (who played his rival brother) turned out to have been 17 when that show started. I was shocked.

Ah! I see. May there be great camera angles...if you know what I mean. ;)

Agreed.  One Tree Hill is amazing.  And Chad Michael Murray was better known pre-OTH for his role as a high schooler on The Gilmore Girls around the same time so it wasn't that odd.

IIRC Charlotte bullied him for awhile.

Charlotte was always a bad seed!!!!!

IIRC, Willow brought up Charlotte's bullying when she was Aiden and Charlotte's teacher.  She's had a few careers.  Nina and Valentin ignored that and Nina got Willow fired from the school lol.

A lot of hotness in today's episode 😍😂😂

And once again, Gio was charming af 😊😊😊

But yeah, they really needed to keep him away from Sonny. I understand him cutting off most of his family at this point, but the one family member that he should still have a relationship with is Tracy, not Sonny 🤮

Btw, Mo was definitely reading cue cards in that first scene with Anna.

This episode was not a very good Friday cliffhanger either.

Michael knows every move Sasha and Daisy are making and speaks for them so this "no involvement" thing is going well lol.

I love Gio so much and I think Emma is great too.  I can actually understand why Gio would be more comfortable with Sonny more than anyone else just because he's known him all his life and he didn't lie to him.  Not that Tracy did, but I could just see why he's more comfortable with a more familiar person.

The ADA is the most unnatural actress.  Worse than Jordan.  And her scenes with Sonny are gross.

When Kristina looks at you like you are nuts, you know you are crazy Willow lol.

And don't forget Jen Lindley's first bad boy playa college boyfriend on Dawson's Creek. Chad got around on that network. ;)

See I didn’t watch Gilmore Girls so my first exposure to him was on Dawson’s Creek which was my favorite show growing up before I got into actual soap operas. Dawson’s Creek is also where I saw Roger Howarth for the first time having no clue he did soaps.

-- Gio and Michael both look amazing this episode. Rory Gibson should never wear a shirt. Dayum.

-- Can't believe GH is going to spend so much time and money covering Rory Gibson's tatts, while Y&R pretends it's no big deal for Billy Flynn to replace a much older Aussie.

-- The outdoor park scenes are fine, but the softball scenes? You have to play completely dumb to believe they're anywhere near a softball field.

-- Overall, a good episode. Lots happened to move stories forward.
