@Errol Do you know when the episode originally aired? -
I think they were going with a Hope recast as they mentioned a "change of character" which I can only assume meant stronger. I think ER even by that time had..uh, not the soap look and I think a Hope who went to New York and started her own business needed a recast with a strong actress who could play a character taking on Alan (so weird that Bert's death was the perfect time of Hope to come home, maybe move into "Grandma's" old house.) But GL just made every slip it could during that time.

I just do not care. Peacock has spoiled me in a way that I love being spoiled. Why? No preemptions, ever, for any show, so DAYS is never preempted. And guess what? I LOVE IT! You can put away your charts & graphs proving that there is an audience for soccer in the middle of the week. Great. Good for them. As for me, I want my soap. And, I don't care who likes soccer. Today I am NOT watching BTG & that is where my point starts & also ends. If you don't mind, bully for you. I do mind. Now this is the end of my rant. -
@Liberty City And it’s a shame that kids today — like Tate — can have a child, yet never know the simple pleasure of opening their first box of personalized che(ques), complete with a custom design if you were feeling especially fancy. Also — side note — it is rather amusing to imagine a Victor Kiriakis Charitable Trust. It would be like having a Pablo Escobar Charitable Trust. I always assumed they used the name Titan because Victor’s marketing team wisely advised him to avoid associating anything public-facing with the Kiriakis name, given its unpleasant connections to drugs and kidnapping schemes. Which is why I wouldn’t blame Maggie if she still preferred to be known as Maggie Horton.

I agree with you there. Still, I think it's important to talk truth and reality about these decisions and not make blanket statements about how "stupid" the decision is and how "it doesn't make any sense" and "no one watches soccer at 2 pm."

I usually use them for bills and rent; other than that, I don't often use them. -
There is a great playlist on YouTube. I can send it to you via private message if you like me to.

The fact that people are so upset by this is a great thing in my opinion. As a CBS watcher I know at least for March Madness, that is something I'm used to but I haven't cared about those shortened weeks for years. People caring enough to want to see the show means it's building viewer loyalty which is only going to help in the long run.

Yes and not to forget that his character was abused all of the sudden.. But I do enjoyed the Janine pairing tbh -
Oh, I was assuming it was either a check via her trust from Victor or a cashier's check. Not Maggie Horton's personal check lol. Honestly up until I bought my house a couple of years ago I paid rent with a personal check because they charged me when I used my debit card lol. Anyhow, just a reasonable excuse for Maggie to go talk to Julie at the hospital. I don't use checks often, but I still have them just in case. I recently got my passport renewed and you can buy a money order or write a check so the government still allows it lol.
