I cant wait till Nicole finds out she's smashing her nephew. I wonder who she will be more mad at. Andrew's thot azz for taking advantage of her sister or Dani for preying on her nephew. It could go either way

That is anothe juicy plotline that I can't wait to see when it comes out. For this very reason.

Yeah I don't think Leslie and Eva are going to last as this close "mother"/daughter pair.  Big cracks there and you can tell Eva is wanting to let go and just explore her own path with Ted.

enough already with the endless superlatives and self-congratulation — it’s getting annoying.

that’s just how people speak to each other all the time — at least not people i know. .

please banish (or at least, limit) the following:

my wonderful, beautiful, amazing…

feel free to add.

Someone has to see that whenever Ashley and Derek are in the momentum automatically dies on this show, right?

They have to. Ashley and Derek has been an unanimous fail everywhere I see the show talked about.

Ron and Jamey as breakdown writers are a massive red flag.  From what I understand, breakdown writers have the most contact/interaction with the head-writers so I assume that MVJ and Guza were on board with Ron's Friday outline.

I am curious if every soap has a new breakdown writer for each episode, or if BTG is the only soap that is doing that.   I would think it would be more logical to have the breakdown writer handle breakdown each episode for the week, with the script writers alternating per episode.

I want to say that it varies from soap to soap off of my experiment off GH this year. And that was just with the HW rotation than the breakdown writers. I am sure someone else knows better than I. I think in this case, the show is just in the process of finding their rhythm, though.

That said...I think it is worth noting that Lynn Martin did the script for Friday and Tuesday. Tuesday was the better of the two cuz Friday did have several of the characteristics I would expect from something with RC's name on it. It was also the weakest episode to date. Meanwhile, Tuesday had humor that was not slapsticky, great character moments and I felt the various plot moving pretty well.

I wonder if Leslie's story of Ted leaving her on his and Nicole's anniversary is a lie to get Eva angry

This might sound strange considering how nice some of home sets are but by far Leslie's apartment is my favorite. They did such a good job of showing a contrast between a regular apartment and the wealth we see from the other characters. Even the decor is perfection (not to mention the wardrobe for Leslie and Eva. You can tell a lot of thought went into giving them a proper set to show their place in life which helps the story and showing what Leslie feels she missed out on and deserves. They did it in a way that looks natural and not a cheesy, trashy view of what someone working class lives like.

Small touches like that and the specific costume design for each character are part of why BTG is must see tv for me.

I dont think Eva cares. That was more for Leslie to justify her own anger

I love that Leslie and Eva look like they’ve been rummaging the racks at TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Ross, and Burlington.

Can someone explain to me why Eva had to lie to Nicole about her mother being dead? Im drawing a blank on how that affects whatever plan she has working at her office

I hate it...Its so dated and the stools look straight out of the 80s. Its not how a modern apartment today would be furnished . I think they went overboard trying to show the contrast. One can find better looking decor at Target

Definitely my favorite set as well. It just feels real and is probably the most relatable to the majority of the audience. I love seeing that on soaps in the age where everyone has designer everything, even the people who would never afford it in real life.

  • Andre found Dani in her druken state; I wonder how she'll talk her way out of it.
  • Derek, you don't even look like you season your food beyond a bit of salt and pepper. I'll skip your lasagna, kthnx.
  • Ms. Hayley is feeling down in the dumps. Oh. Well, Miss Thang should have thought about that before marrying Bill Hamilton and moving into Fairmont Crest, darling. Perhaps you should have stayed out of the community.
  • Momma Dana don't play. At all. Eva is seeing things beyond Momma's rose-coloured glasses, and she's seeing the error of Dana's ways.
  • Andre isn't buying what Dani is selling. I love it. He's smarter than he actually looks. It seems like second doubts are setting in. That's it, André; realise she's using your ass! Go fight for the right girl for you: Ashley!
  • I love the family chemistry between Andre and Nicole. It's very special.
  • Yes, Derek overdid it. Now admit him back into the hospital, and let him stay there. ALONE!
  • Derek is a moron; all hands on deck situation or not, it does not matter. I am sure your chief knows of your medical situation. Back to the ICU he goes.
  • Dana is unhinged to the highest of the max. She has got multiple screws absolutely loose, and a one-way ticket to the nutfarm is where she's headed.
  • Atta girl, Ashley. Think about the man you should be with!
  • Bill is a smooth-talker, but it wouldn't work on me. These women (Dani, Hayley) need the damn backbone Naomi has.
  • It's about time we got some scenes between Ashley and her mum Jan.
  • I am with Nicole. That anniversary sounds pathetic and boring. And would be even if it were not an anniversary. I'd rather sl*t my wrists.
  • What is it with Bill that has women wrapped up in his hands? Insanity to me.
  • Good on Dani for pouring the booze out. That's the first step (which I am sure she'll take plenty of times).

Next week looks insane! Hayley vs. Naomi?! That's going to be fire! And looks like they prepped for this shortened week, too. Loving it.
