Charlotte's PahPah is roughly the equivalent of Violet singing to me. And her relationship with Valentin is decidedly bent. We know, of course, that her relationship with Victor was bent, too. And, of course the writing's on the wall that Valentin is about to be around again, I am sure. I can't imagine how they are going to allow Anna to forgive him but I just guess that these plot-plot-plot opportunistic writers will find a way so we may get to have a happy Anna again!!

@TaoboiI am looking at a notation in my calendar that you might find of interest:  March 15, 2024, Day 1, Patrick Mulcahey & Elizabeth Korte.

That entire storyline was just gross.

If she has to stay on the show and as a Spencer, I think there is something there as far as a storyline where she gets help for being brainwashed by Victor, being shot and also being forced to be on the run. And as she gets help her therapy also reveals to her that Valentin, in his well documented neediness, made their relationship so codependent so she would never leave him. His psychological harm being just traumatic as Victor’s. Soaps used to do this kind of deep, personal investigation of their characters. I would rope Laura in and have her share the off-camera help she received to help her stand on her own for the first time in her adult life, and how her traumas impacted her and she didn’t seek real help until she had what was essentially a nervous breakdown.

GH really has seemed to turn this whole Brook Lynn storyline around though. It was so clunky and thrown together in the beginning, but it's gotten so much better recently. And today, it was one of the things that grabbed my attention the most.

And I love that they seem to be building up a Gio/Emma/Trina/Kai quad. The four of them doing all that animal rights stuff, and taking on Drew as well, could be really interesting. And Gio and Emma do have chemistry.

And yeah, everything with Charlotte... Skip.

Another character that, Frank needs to realize, is not gonna be his new Starr.

Whomever is mandating that every other damn word out of Charlotte’s mouth is papa needs to be fired right along with the terrible actress.

This is my first time seeing a Rocco and Sonny scene. Totally forgot they were related.

Chris McKenna has none of the charm of the previous Brennan. Today he and Carly were better but man I have to wonder if no one else auditioned for the role.

Love love love the Trina and Ava relationship so much. I appreciate the writers giving Trina a birthday party and also for continuing to play the Spencer beat with her. Loved Laura being at the party.

Lois and her mom are dummies. Just Brook Lynn, Gio is her kid. The longer you drag it out the worse it will be. Literally her and Gio being in eachother’s lives is a GREAT thing. His mom is dead, while his birth mom is right there living in the same house with him and they have a great relationship.

I’m actually shocked at how invested I’ve gotten in the Brook Lynn/Gio story and a lot of that is down to Amanda Setton who has been so good.

I'm glad they had Trina still thinking of Spencer, not because she needs to wait for his return, but because it was such an important part of her life and shouldn't be forgotten.

I saw some fans who were upset over Taggert not being there. I just hope Real is doing OK. A shame the show has dropped the character.

I watched the "last" Anna and Valentin scene. It felt like a proper goodbye. Yet the show never seems to want to let the character go. Finola and JPS work well together but it's time to move on.

    • I don't think they had any idea who he was this time last year. I think they were keeping their options very open. Same with totally dropping the Trina romance that was spoiled for him in the mags once FV clearly took a shine to him. Frank's priorities are bright and blazing in one color. I do think Gio and Emma seem to have worked out given that she is very dry and sarcastic and he is like a hot golden retriever, but I'd still play the field or explore quads with both with very different people - Emma with a scheming young man (of color), Gio with possibly Trina or someone else, or even a boy. Then maybe put them back together, who knows. But of course none that will happen.

    • He definitely got lost in the shuffle last year. First, they were implying that he was Drew’s son, then he was nothing more than just Violet’s bff

And then they changed him to being Dante and Brook Lynn’s son, which was clunky at first but I’m enjoying the storyline now.
    • GM is adorable, charming and fun onscreen despite months of nothing to do until recently, and has a bodacious bod. I'm not cosigning the show or this story - I haven't watched a full episode in over a month - but I think we're all taking the small victories in 2025 at this point. I'm open to testing this theory!
    • I think Jason might've posted some numbers for the syndication a while ago and the numbers for Falcon Crest was horrible. Like 1.5 rating or something, which was terrible.    ETA: it was actually Paul Raven:   New to syndication 60 min Fall Guy 67 markets 3.1/8 Falcon Crest 110 markets 1.1/5 To get into the top 40, you needed a 4.6/9 rating for reference - and Falcon Crest managed to get into a lot of markets to begin with. In the fall of 1985 Dynasty, Dallas and Knots were syndicated (show / rating / share / coverage % / markets): Dallas 3.4 10 51.7 92 Dynasty 3.4 10 48.7 47  Knots Landing 3.3 10 12.5 20  So, Knots as an example trippled Falcon Crest's rating with 20 markets - I'm sure those were major ones but it just goes to show you how much Falcon Crest bombed in syndication.
    • It's not bad but the stories move too slow. It's the same problem when Dan O'Connor was CO-HW with Van Etten, they have a million stories and they all drag on endlessly with no resolution. I'd argue the majority of the stories airing now are good but you get sick of waiting months for something to happen.
    • Thanks. I must have missed that period entirely for Lifetime.
    • Thanks. I know Marland did that type of thing sometimes but it's less likely with these characters. I don't even remember Alex ever mentioning him.
