There are a lot of people fed up with GH for many years who watched before, during and after Sprina though (us included!). I think there will be crossover and/or migration. The question is how much.

Some of them are just irate because the show on their screens is not the show they've made up in their tiny little toxic heads. They demand they get their wishful thinking to do lists. So in that sense you may be right. Their only advantage is this blank slate as far as favorites go.

So what epsiode did Jason learn about Sam being murdered? I feel like I missed something bc he came back from EU and jumped straight into protecting Danny from Cyrus but I dont recall him ever being told and reacting to the news of what happened to her

A coat doesnt stop you from being col especially if you are on a rooftop and potentially dealing with wind. And they both yelled fo help but it didnt work

Is your question when & how he learned of Sam's death? Or when he learned she was murdered?

I forgot a complaint. When NuJack said he was outside the cabin the whole time ... that was lame. Cyrus could have hurt her very badly with that axe. Was he just gonna stand there, outside & let it happen?

Also I meant to give myself a score for this week. Dex: Failed. Chase: Failed. ID bracelet: Failed. Jack offers WSB to Joss: A+

I think some are expecting BTG to be the miracle soap that is the be all end all and even though I feel BTG will be great, the pedestal some have placed it on will not satisfy those who put it there.

I don't need it to be a miracle soap. I need it to be better than GH, which is not remotely difficult.

Ideally it would hurt GH. Because hurting the show, and viewers leaving it, is the only thing that will force any change.

Not talking GH or any others I'm saying I feel some fans have put btg on a pedestal so high that no matter what it dies, it won't be enough for them

I do n̈ot want any of these shows hurt. I'm just digesting Neighbours going off in December 2025.

I want the remaining five to last and hopefully we get some new soaps down the line.

GH only had renaissances in the '70s and the '90s because it was failing and steps were taken. The only way a soap opera changes for the better is when it gets hurt.

Like I said before: This is not a pep rally. These executives and actors are not my IRL friends.

He already knew before Anna lectured him. He knew before he rushed to stop Danny from doing something stupid with Cyrus. Rocco told Jason that he told Danny that Cyrus was the main suspect in Sam's death. Jason did not seem surprised. That was the first indiction that he knew she was murdered unless i missed something prior to this

    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.
