Awwwww Michael.

As much as I can't stand your ass, I hope you survive

As for Sonny, sorry y'all, but I just see another awful character finally paying for their awful behavior. #RIPJagger.

Are we having fun yet? You bet your bippy we are!

Seriously though, why does it keep seeming like GH doesn't know this is not traditionally considered to be a Sweeps period?

I get that it's messy & even approve in a general way.

It's a real roller coaster ride with so much going on ...

These writers have blown up so many couples for so many months ...

My concern is whether they can sustain it.

I don't want my show canceled because they broke up all possible available couples.

Trusting them is the challenge. And by them I have my eyes on you, EK, CVE & the silent co-HW Frankie.

Bad enough block taping, that the nickname for their taping is "Fast & Furious". Continuity errors, what day is it? Heck, what time of day is it?

Cyrus definitely has deserved killing & that's been true for a long time. I'm not sure we are ready to put that karmic legacy onto Joss at her relatively young age.  I would suggest she ask Sonny to have him killed.

Would Sidwell have done that little dance if it were not he?

No meaty scenes for Michael, where he got to put anyone in their place. Instead he got to sleep walk through his final episodes.

We've seen the crap with Sidwell a million times. It felt like they were just re-doing Lucy's scenes with Victor from 2022, only with a different actor reading the same lines to Lucy.

Yes, but Spinelli has his own PI business with Sam that I assume he now has to work all alone at.  I am sure Spin could make an inventory sheet for Jason in like 10 seconds, but who knows how long it would take for Spin to explain it to him.

It would make sense for such a low-key exit if he comes back from the burns incredibly embittered and out to get everyone, but based on recent returns, he may just play cards for a month.

(then again, they did try to get Lulu moving fast once she woke up)

I don't remember the last time anyone at GH knew what to do with Lucy. Decades? At least she isn't being presented as the heavy like last year, but that's not saying much. I'm just glad Lynn is still able to work with everything she's had to go through.

Thanks. I guess I'm too used to soap characters being able to do 500 jobs at once.

Chad Duell is too bored and checked out to give a good performance.

Before today, Lucy had not been on since September. I had not missed her.

I thought the sale of Wyndemere was cancelled and the castle given to Ace. How is Lucy selling it Sidwell?

Agree to disagree.

I believe what happened to Wyndemere/Spoon Island is as follows:

Ava successfully sold it to an unknown party.

The Greeks in charge of the Cassadine situation managed to get it back.

The estate has just now leased the property to "Chancy" Jenz Sidwell because that way the property will earn money for the estate.

The realtor Lucy Coe was particularly clueless in not having any suspicions about "Chancy".

    • I know Passions used this trope with Ethan and Sam to drag out the paternity, but GH seems to speed through certain stories while dragging others.
    • For any other soap, I think I’d agree, but GH, I don’t know

    • Agreed, that there was some strange choices in the episode, especially at the end, but overall, that was some great drama that opens up the potential for so much future storyline. Kat vs. Eva having the most potential, especially over Tomas. I have mixed feelings about Martin/BC though. I thought he did pretty well in scenes with Smitty/MM, but the scenes of him confronting Leslie and of him throwing the books were bad lol she acted circles around him.  It’s similar to what Harding Lemay said about George Reinholt at AW; he could be brilliant in one scene, but then mediocre in the next.
    • I know some of y'all really like Brooke Kerr, and so I've tried to give her a shot, despite her frequent flat line readings and distracted "did I leave the front door unlocked?" facial expressions. But lord, she is so bad at playing a tough-talking badass that I was actually rooting for Brad today to spill the beans to Drew.
    • Googling does tend to ruin it.  For those of us who were teens in the late 1970s and early 1980s, you can't imagine how much fun it was to watch the show in the afternoons.  (It came on right after school.)  There weren't any "spoilers" at the time.  We would always try to anticipate how each crime and each mystery would be resolved, and we were ALWAYS wrong, because the stories are filled with so many weird twists and turns.   The head writer (Henry Slesar) and his dialogue writer (Steve Lehrman) invariably toss genuine clues directly into your face in the most unlikely ways, but then they provide a host of "red herrings" to completely confuse you and send you off on the wrong path.  Once the story reaches its conclusion, all you can think is Why didn't I figure that out weeks ago?  lol
    • Does the vault have the original scene and not the short flashback?
    • I appreciate that you are using AI with the knowledge of it's limitations. Some posters take everything it produces as fact.
    • And of course Mama Ru herself appeared on All My Children.
    • The Saturday 8pm slot usually had the lowest rating of the NBC 4 sitcom lineup for some reason. NBC let Saturday night fizzle, They used 9.30 pm to launch 227 and Amen, both of which moved to earlier in the evening but they  kept Empty Nest following GG for several seasons.  Empty Nest should have moved to 8pm with their strongest new sitcom at 9.30, anticipating that GG would eventually falter. Instead they left them there and stretching the sitcom pool too thinly on other nights. When Grand talk over at 9.30 Thurs maybe Night Court and Wings could have been used on Saturday.
