If they wrote it that way in order to punk Laura Wright, then they are no better than Ron Carlivati and his endless "fat jokes" for Sean Kanan.

Would not surprise me. It would've been better served if the first "we" was in question, with the second more pushed and then the final "we" just being louder than the first two. Instead, we got the Three Little Pigs in delivery, minus "all the way home".

I really enjoyed today's episode

Joss and Lucky exchanging notes on Cyrus and later Lucky meeting with Lucas and Liz to go over what they know about the mystery.

Drew vs Nina and also Willow vs Sasha (that "because things didn't work out with your cousin" was actually quite a burn from someone who has basically been a piece of milquetoast up until now lol)

But the absolute star of today's show was Tracy and her decision to refuse to hand over Wiley and Amelia to Willow's custody, which was set up perfectly in the previous episode with Tracy expressing her concerns about Monica and saying that she would keep the next generation of Quartermaines safe at all costs.

I think she would as well. She definitely had that sass walk down in Friday's episode.

Though if I had to pick her or Sasha, I would have (and used to say) Sasha had the edge on that cuz SM can do a good bitca before her year after year tragedy storylines started.

Darn it if they don't have me invested. So momentum gained. lol.

And I was just saying the other day that even though they are no longer together that Nina and Sonny get a scene once in a blue moon. And in Sonny/Carly vs Willow/Drew, who was the person to bring everything to a compromise? Oh, yeah, Nina. AFTER talking to Sonny. How well-timed. Drew continued to look like such a prick and Nina more of an afterthought.

I was happy Isaiah came to Michael's rescue. And Portia and Brad teaming up? Who would have thought it? Add Joss on the case...not to mention Liz/Lucky...and it seems those walls are closing in on Cyrus. Thank goodness. Cuz nowt he really appears to be playing as actual religious vs playing at being religious. And speaking of Brad...is that Ms. Wu I heard? lol.

I honestly liked the Trina and Kai scenes. Like I also said the other day, couples are more interesting when they don't need the gimmicks...especially a couple starting out. And that Kai actor got the Isaiah eyes for Trina and even I went awww. And I found it hilarious he already knows Stella...making sure he has some fam in his corner when actual drama ensues for him and Trina. It felt relatable versus silly.

And just as relatable...those Tracy/Stella scenes. For me, it was eerie given yesterday's news. It took me back to when Jeanne Cooper passed on Y&R. And her final scene just happened to be with Jess Walton and Jill and Kay having a brief but usual-for-them bout over Jill helping Kay up the stairs. Representative of the relationship/rivalry between them and represented the character as well as the actress. So knowing originally this episode should be on Friday...chills. So meta and it was nice to see Tracy as a human and not just grumpy grandma.

Well, they gotta set up that murder mystery.

Yep.  I can even see how it might begin, with Willow waking up one morning (after having sex with Drew) to find Drew dead from a gunshot wound or a knife to the chest in her bed.

    • Ted has been icky and giving off bad guy vibe from the first moment I saw him. I have a sensor for that and it was beeping! So...don't put all the blame on Silkpress. The woman needs a good psychiatrist, true... but Leslie is just one of the skeletons in HIS closet. Ted is even a bigger monster, because he's hidden.  IT WAS A PERFECT REVEAL. Perfect, because in the beginning of the show... Dani was envying her sister's marriage... In these first few messy weeks... her own misery and life spiraling was contrasted to the picture-perfect marriage Nicole and Ted seemed to have. (on first glance). What happened now... is very very smart writing. THIS IS THE MOMENT THE MASKS ARE FALLING! The message it delivers to me is this. It says - no matter how things look... they are not what they seem. You can't judge a marriage by how it appears to be. Aaaand in the long run... maybe the messiest-looking people (Dani Dupree, I'm talking about you!) HAVE less issues and problems than the ones that seem to have it all. The ones with the MOST skeletons in the closets and the dirty pasts.   It was an AHA moment for the whole family and the viewers and a way forward for Dani and Nicole to bond even more and realize they are MORE alike than they are different. Now it will be quite a different dynamic, because Dani will have to SUPPORT someone and not be the one getting her wounds licked always. And also another lesson. Some men are dogs. Not all of them. But a lot of them are. The difference is... some can't be easily recognized. These creeps have put very impressive masks. The show is doing this perfectly. Beat by beat. Exploring classic soap opera themes and stories. Real-life characters and situations, that are relatable and make you think... Hmm... maybe I need to dig a little deeper next time I say "these people are perfect" or otherwise. Maybe I need to think MORE. That type of storytelling. It's not easy to do that.  Brava BTG.  B-R-A-V-A!
    • I speculate that Nicole will go through cycles of numbness/grief/rage.  At some point later on, regardless of DNA results (or faked results), whether there was a baby swap or not, I think Nicole will forgive Eva, and eventually love her someday.  Nicole will come to understand that Leslie gaslighted/manipulated Eva.  Nicole will be her loving self, although more guarded than before.   Just my thoughts.
    • Lol. That comment was just silly.  I feel like The Guiding Light started it when they made me love Roger Thorpe. Leslie is pussycat in comparison and there is a lot of story to go  for her and Eva.
    • Your posts continue to amuse me. I don't know anyone else who thinks Leslie and Eva should "hightail it out of town."  And listen, soaps have been FOR DECADES keeping around villains who we know would be jailed in real life. So is it crazy to think "they are just going to let this slide"? No. It's kind of hilarious to watch you take everything that happens on this show and distort it or lead me to think, "Huh???"
    • I can't even count the amount of magazine covers and photoshoots KKL has been in the past few months. Shame that the show is not mirroring the success she's having. It would have been so great to see both KKL and Brooke be on top.  I'm still holding a grudge that Brad rewrote the company take-over to a nothing... and then nulled Brooke to being a romance beggar again.
    • I'm also getting an error that I haven't seen before, but there's been a couple of different variations, so not going to worry about it for now.
    • Finally got to sit down and watch. Wow!  When LesDanLuAnn said to Ted, this your daughter. I started tearing up...... Eva got me.  I felt like I was watching a soap opera.

    • The drag was when Tad and Edmund went to Budapest (?) in 1997 to get Maddie back from Dimitri.
