Just thinking, if almost dying & having emergency surgery & being in ICU & losing a baby that was basically full term, so you'd been pregnant with it that long & your big sister dying & having a break up with your girlfriend who then leaves town, when you thought you'd finally found true love ... if the label for this is being coddled by the show & the fictional characters, right,  no one would ever want to attract any attention to their character. Please don't write for me, Valentini! (Sorry for the Faulknerian sentence.)

The second Kristina decided she was keeping her sister’s baby she became the villain for me. I’ve felt absolutely no sympathy for her and yes she’s been totally coddled by everyone in town. Molly literally only has Ric in her corner.

YEPPP!! I am shocked to see Alexis so beside Molly when TJ came to the house... I kept thinking "Where was this before now?"

They have Kristina putting the K in See You Next Tuesday...and frankly I love it. Current day daytime is lacking in divisive characters, ones meant to intentionally piss off a segment of the audience. GH, the only soap I've watched a full episode of in nearly 15 years, is weighted down with milquetoast "good" people. Even Sonny, the world's most progressive crime lord, spends most of his screen time giving sage, saintly advice to decent people.

Kristina though? Despicable, selfish, incapable of thinking rationally before reacting but under the impression that she's doing the right thing. And I'm here for it. I need more people to call her out on her sh*t but I can live with this for now because it's entertaining. I do not like her but I like what she brings to the canvas, the ire she conjures up in me when I know she's about to say something both unwarranted and unhinged.

I also REALLY enjoyed her scenes with Sonny the other day and I haven't enjoyed any scene with Sonny in nearly a year. But I liked Sonny, the immature, imbalance mobster who lives his life always on the verge of losing it with his family and friends over the most miniscule slight, encouraging her to give into her desire for revenge. It's BAD advice and from anyone else it would just be bad writing but from Sonny? Makes perfect sense. And for him to say to Kristina, the child most like him? Makes even more sense.

If they're positioning Kristina as his heir apparent I say bring it on.

I agree with all of this. I’ve come to hate Kristina but she provokes a visceral reaction that I actually enjoy as a viewer. They seem to be intentionally taking the character down a darker path and I like it, I’m hoping that convo she had with Sonny a few weeks back leads to a full out mafia princess transition. Sonny needs an heir since they killed Morgan off, Michael’s a Quartermaine pansy and the two other daughters are too young and irrelevant. Kristina with her bonus Cassadine genes seems like the right choice to me and Mansi plays cold unhinged bitch better than anything else they have given her.

She became the villain when she kept using Adela to Molly's face. As if she has no common sense.

Oh, I think we can count on that! If you think about it, common sense kinda goes along in the vein of the way most people think & Kristina does not think like other people do!

And it's interesting seeing it discussed so let me just add...out of all of Sonny's kids, I've always said that if anyone was heir apparent to him, it should be Kristina. So if they are finally going there, she might go love to hate for me rather than the hatred I have for her now.

lol. That she doesn't. Which is why we all are counting the minutes before Molly snaps and give Kristina the slap she clearly deserves.

Obviously a possibility!

I'm personally wanting Alexis to tell her in words in no uncertain terms that she is way out of line but I get that some want her to be smacked. I think words would hurt her more & she needs to be told off!

Lexi Ainsworth was Kristina 1, Lindsey Morgan was Kristina 2, and Kate Mansi is Kristina 3.

He wasn't saying the #2 Kristina. He was saying the moment when she began to call the Tolly baby Adela is when he began to hate Kristina. Just offered FYI.

No, not Ava. She disregards basically anything Ava says. It needs to be someone she respects.

Ah! I can see that.

I didn’t ask. Did you even read my comment?

However, who does she respect? It's a dilemma. I may have to join the slap brigade.
