It's a pity that Days ignored so much history for decades and that entire generations have been ignored/killed off.

Sandy's family, Steve Olsen and family, another child for Tom Jr,Melissa's other child and so on.

With attention and respect to the Hortons, there would have been a steady flow of new characters to bolster that family.

ITA. After watching the show for many, many years I stopped about a few months into when it became exclusive on Peacock. I tired of all the sci-fi stories, people wearing masks, constant back from the dead, the total takeover of the show by the Dimera family, and for me, the almost erasure of the Horton family, who I always felt like were the heart of the show.

I've tuned in recently just to see the Doug memorial episodes, but I know that a lot of the characters I'm looking forward to seeing won't be around for long (Lucas, Jennifer, Jack, JJ, Eli, Lani).

How is this Dude related to Doug Wiliams, Julie's husband?? I'm confused.

Probably is Doug's Grandson by his son Dougie Leclair
