I just left the Suds & Squared Media podcast & they said 3 things that would be considered spoilers, maybe. I'll explain.

Not sure if this would be a spoiler or not, but exercising caution. Chad Duell's not really gone/gone but instead is on a break because of some stuff he's got to take care of. Implication being personal stuff to deal with. Open-ended agreement between him & Frank. Fully intends to return.

Personally I think that's great news but we know the old saying about good intentions, so, we'll see.

JPS (Valentin) and the actress who plays Charlotte both have been in studio taping for a few weeks. (not sure how many "few" is)

The show has tried to book several dates with Kin Shriner & he has declined them all. (Not sure if this is a spoiler, either, but, being cautious.) He's recurring, not contract, so of course, it's fully within his rights to say NO.

Also, last, and this maybe isn't a spoiler either sorry but since they're gearing up to go dark for some holiday time they are now taping some of February.

I believe all these @Contessa Donatella

Kin Shriner has been recurring since 2013 and its is right to say NO and has tweeted that he is done at GH.

That is fine but i hope he never bellyaches over GH again

I can see Chad back in like 6 months

Glad JPS and Scarlett are back

Already filming Feb 2025? two months out now

Isn't that the truth?!! Kin is such a kick in the pants & when he starts tweeting, it's like here we go again! I compare it to the HW taking the star to the mall in NJ in SOAPDISH. Twi/X is the mall & the fans are, well, the fans, who give the attention.

Said they're only that far ahead when they're about to have a bunch of dark time.

I forgot one thing they talked about. Last week someone posted a picture of Sexy Dexy in a hospital bed, so that's the spoiler part of it that he gets injured somehow, but their point was about Frank & how he hates leaks because the rest of their story was that the person who leaked that picture from the set, has since been fired for doing so.

Honestly, I don't know. All I know is that when they go dark this time, they won't be back until 2025. Some fan said last week, they were in Feb. but not as far as Valentine's. The reason they are more ahead is to take off extra time for the holidays.  I simply have no idea how long extra time would be!

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
