It's better than the greenscreen they used before, but I still feel greenscreen/CGI has no place on daytime soaps. They don't have Marvel/Star Wars money, so stop trying to to pursue things you can only do at a very basic level.

I think it would have looked better if we saw less of it- some studio trees to block some of it or a higher fence etc

I hope they explain what happened to the old nuRanch built in 2013. Was the 2013 house built on a different plot of land from the one that burned down?

Yes and better lighting. You can definitely use a green screen and make it work, but the way they do it is lazy.

In the articles about it they mentioned it was build on another part of the ranch. I wonder if they'll have someone else move into the new ranch or if they'll just get rid of that set entirely.

In the CDN, Victor offered the old ranch to Adam. He said he would think about it.

Tomorrow’s US episode is must watch, not just for the reveal of the new Newman Ranch set, but because of all the classic Nikki/Victor flashbacks, classic music cues that are used, and the opulent production and directing.

You can clearly see the difference and why they needed Ed Scott back to handle production.

Agreed, the music, lighting, just having a big set again that they're free to walk around in is so nice
