Am I the only one offended that this is the story the came up with for Lois?  It's a non-story.  It's frustrating to watch Rena just be wasted.

Very wasted. I'm happy she's still filming but it's wasted opportunity.

It's ridiculous, but so typical of a lot of vet stories under this and the Passanante/Altman regimes. They need to hire a real love interest for Rena (with a contract, Frank) and dig deep into her missing years off-canvas.

Hated it instanteously. Everyone I know reacted just like that!

There are so many possibilities for her.  She was off canvas so long there are so many places you could take Lois.  Or just move her forward with a new romance.  It's not hard.  

Instead let's just make Lois embarrassed about her accent-a thing she was always proud of.  The story is stupid, but it makes no sense for the Lois character.  She's not insecure at all.

It's absolute bull... Rena deserves better. She came back to town, talking about her pasta and the old neighbourhood.... she should be focusing on her cooking etc. That would be a story to tell.

Which given her cunning, she did extremely well. Like Sonny keeps his stuff off the books, so do does she.

I felt for a moment that they were aiming for a 'it's okay to be yourself' storyline with the first scenes with the teacher, but I am a few days behind so not sure what's going on. Yet.
