Her kid not being Jax's was one of the dumbest mistakes ever.  Even with the Ingo of it all, I still stand by that fact.  The conflict would have been so much greater than with Dante even.  It's not like Brenda or Dante even knew one another existed.  Instead, it's the dead Balkan's son kid.  Ugh.

Supposedly Korte is a fan of Anna as well. The problem is all their stories for her are miserable.

Brennan is still a glorified dayplayer to me and a waste of time. It was obvious he was just another thug in PM's Pikeman story, then they began muddling around trying to make him work as an actual love interest for Carly as the latest attempt at Jarly hit the skids.

I've long had plans for scheming gay Alec, lol. Though I think he would probably pal up with schemer Joss as her mini-me for a bit before coming into his own and turning over a slightly better leaf, a la Brenda.

Holly driving up in the Jeep was a moment of perfection to me in a day of several of those. It reminded me of a time when Roman saved Bo from the Torres family & Mrs. H was driving the getaway car.

I cannot think how long it's been since I've seen an extended action scene like that fight! After being mostly critical of Frank, I have to give some kudos there.

Marty not giving an inch, fine. Natalia really has a lot of nerve, but we knew this. Diane is so strict, but I kinda love her, although she is much tougher on Carly than she is on her pet client.

And, Tracy!!! Loving it. She apologized. Talk about a SURPRISE!!!

Just imagining him breaking up a Joss relationship, and having both Brenda and Carly sticking up for their kids during the fallout. They can play all the beats of him going the Brenda redemption route after it all shakes out.

As far as Korte liking Anna, great. Why they have basically wasted Genie since Spencer’s death I don’t get. When you have these icons on your show, and they are well respected and can still bring it, use them. One of the things the last few months have done correctly is Alexis is back in the mix, and NLG shows she is still capable of being a central player.

I enjoyed all the action scenes today, made for a fun episode. Brennan sending the drone blast and Holly pulling up with a jeep to get everyone outta there was cool stuff. Jason should have killed Sidwell like he was about to until Lucky stopped him, looks like Holly’s sticky fingers has Sidwell otw to Port Charles as well. Wonder if he ends up being Natalia’s ex since they keep hinting at him being dangerous.

Jack and Carly >>>> CarSon round 2000 and dry ass Natalia and Sonny. I still hate Diane pushing Carly and Sonny to play up their fake romance alibi but loved Lucy commenting to Natalia how tired their reunion cycle is.

Martin no Tad rejecting Lucy and Tracy peeping the whole thing was also hilarious.

Sasha and Cody and Robert and Diane were snooze fests per usual.

Really nice scenes with Liz and Felicia talking about Lucky, Frisco, and Epiphany though. I was happy when Lucky called Liz at the hospital at the end, the Liason fans can stay mad lol I’m glad the show seems to be headed in my preferred ship direction.

One thing about Genie is that supposedly she doesn't need this job. She loves the work & that's why she does it. No idea if it is true. But, if it is it might go aways toward explaining her not being ambitious about what Laura is or isn't doing. I love Laura & I think personally she is an excellent matriarch. I'm excited that she soon is going to have more family.

I am somewhat concerned, this is entirely spec, not spoiler in any sense of that word. But, what if Natalia's ex is Stilwell?

I thoroughly enjoyed today's episode.  As someone who first began watching GH in 1983 (with several long breaks) I never thought I would see and episode with Tracy, Robert, Holly, Felicia, Anna and Lucy in it.  I actually felt like I was watching GH.  I am looking forward to Lucky returning home and Elizabeth getting a story worthy of her.  I also like Anna and Jason. I don't want them to be written as a super couple I want it to be a big messy romance that they are fighting and everyone else hates.  The show needs some damn messiness and I have not enjoyed Jason this much since the 90s.  Plus we get Lulu and Lucas back with talented actors cast.  Having the Spencers back as a core family is long overdue.

I agree. If she had to have a kid, it really should have been Jax. And that would have always given her and Sonny drama. Or what if Jax's kid also idolized Sonny over Jax? It writes itself.

 PREACH!!!!

AMEN. Mama Bear Alexis (sober and all) is a force of nature and NLG snatches up my attention and dares me to look away when she's in that mode.

    • Googling does tend to ruin it.  For those of us who were teens in the late 1970s and early 1980s, you can't imagine how much fun it was to watch the show in the afternoons.  (It came on right after school.)  There weren't any "spoilers" at the time.  We would always try to anticipate how each crime and each mystery would be resolved, and we were ALWAYS wrong, because the stories are filled with so many weird twists and turns.   The head writer (Henry Slesar) and his dialogue writer (Steve Lehrman) invariably toss genuine clues directly into your face in the most unlikely ways, but then they provide a host of "red herrings" to completely confuse you and send you off on the wrong path.  Once the story reaches its conclusion, all you can think is Why didn't I figure that out weeks ago?  lol
    • Does the vault have the original scene and not the short flashback?
    • I appreciate that you are using AI with the knowledge of it's limitations. Some posters take everything it produces as fact.
    • And of course Mama Ru herself appeared on All My Children.
    • The Saturday 8pm slot usually had the lowest rating of the NBC 4 sitcom lineup for some reason. NBC let Saturday night fizzle, They used 9.30 pm to launch 227 and Amen, both of which moved to earlier in the evening but they  kept Empty Nest following GG for several seasons.  Empty Nest should have moved to 8pm with their strongest new sitcom at 9.30, anticipating that GG would eventually falter. Instead they left them there and stretching the sitcom pool too thinly on other nights. When Grand talk over at 9.30 Thurs maybe Night Court and Wings could have been used on Saturday.
    • @Maxim Great to see your mini-reviews again. There are a number of clips on Youtube of Janice's slow mental breakdown, especially as we go into January 1980. Christine Jones is just superb. She played the hell out of that role. Something which isn't referenced as much later on is how Mitch pushed Janice's doubts and mental instability for his own ends...until suddenly he didn't want to anymore (I guess he caught on with the audience and the show became wary). I don't want to post a bunch of clips, but this one has a very good confrontation between Rachel and Janice.

This has a good scene around 7 minutes in where you can see Janice struggling internally with her need to identify herself so much by the men around her, all of which helps lead to her crackup.
    • It really made Oscar the Doorman seem like an imbecile.   I think the show's unusual format & subject manner is what makes EON often seem less "dated" and "old-fashioned" than other shows from that time period.  It never attempted to be especially "trendy" or "modern" -- and its film noir style is pretty timeless.
    • Dallas, Dynasty, Knots and Falcon Crest all had good runs but by 85 they had seen better days. I think they were a victim of the format. After several seasons seeing the same characters front and center viewers were bored. What was once fascinating grew predictable. JR, Alexis etc had to be front and center and after a while their schemes and shtick grew repetitive. JR remarrying Sue Ellen, Alexis constantly trying to get he better of Blake etc Unlike daytime, there wasn't the flexibility to bring in other stories and characters and maybe let the likes JR go backburner. That same mentality also invaded daytime with characters like  Sonny and Victor still peddling the same stuff after decades. I guess the same could be said for MSW eg every week Jessica encounters a crime and solves it,but I think viewers come to that format with a different mindset.
    • Daphnee and Trisha did a live stream on Instagram and confirmed they find out if the show gets picked up in May. This pretty much confirms they're on the primetime schedule like the Bell soaps. Fingers crossed we get a multi-year renewal announcement soon!  https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJSsYb7PDv8/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
    • I don't think Lois the character was there.  The Lois we knew from the 90s has pretty much died with this  Gio story crap.
