I bumped the anniversary thread over at SOC. I was just wondering this weekend if it was going to be mentioned on air, I couldn't remember if it was Friday or today but it was the nineteenth I do believe. It'd be cool if we get a "happy anniversary" from both or either one of them this week. :)

We need an anniversary ficlet. *looks around*

Well, I guess that breakdown person had correct information, but it was tricky. I thought for sure if Trevor was involving himself in Luke's business, we would see Luke. But nope. Trevor was on the phone, talking about setting Luke up.

Here's hoping from some good LuNacy tomorrow!

And, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LUKE AND TRACY!!! :D

*waves to Nex* You are going to be so bored without any clips to post this summer! Don't get too rusty!

I was just thinking...if we get the blog all up and running, I am friends with Soapking and soapqueen (ryan and jen) who do the in the zone radio show. I betcha I could ask if they would mention it or let me call in on a slow day when they have no guests. Not sure how many fans they reach, but it could be some publicity. I definitely thing we should pitch it to the soapmags to let them know we are doing it. Maybe in the mail bag comments section? Couldn't hurt.

I also think it would be great if we could call the comment line during the next 8 weeks or whatever every day that we can remember to to say "we miss Tracy". I also really think as per our br discussion, that writing letters to JE and to Frons/Guza saying GH is not the same without Tracy would be good too and that we hope she gets some storyline when she returns!

It would be nice for JE to come back to a bunch of fan mail!

I'll try my best hooked, not to get too rusty in my clip editing abilities with the lack of Tracy on our screens for the next eight weeks. I know eight weeks feels like forever, but seriously with the summer coming I have to be honest, I'm simply not on my computer that much. I am too busy going out and about to be hanging over a hot computer all night, not when it's 90 degrees outside, and I'm too cheap to turn on the air conditioner. My only computer time will probably be while I'm at work in my freezing office.

Thanks remos.

I was about to go to bed but was like "WTH, I am going to check my email. I got an AWESOME one (well, I think it's awesome), and I hope it works out. I might share details in the breakroom tomorrow.

And, then, the night gets better... I see these "scoops" on SD about Tracy finding JoLu in bed together, and I'm convinced they're made up 'cause JE won't be around anytime soon, but then, I stumble across this. Am wondering the original source. Sounds like a mag, no?

THIS IS THE PART TO READ!!!!

hooked,

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.

Newsom is a craven opportunist, but his comments today were exactly how better people need to handle Trump.
