hooked, it ended with Tracy showing up at Robin's. She called Anna "Granny Goose" and suspects that she is after her husband. Cut to Luke/Anna, explaining the rules of their game, and then them singing/dancing while removing their jackets.

SZ cracked me up: Sweet God. Get back to Carly. I can't take this ish. If anyone told me years ago, that I'd ever ask to get back to Carly, I'd have to them to STFU! lol.

Today's recaps...

Nex: Scenes 4,5,6, and 7

Previews: Anna asking Luke if he has a rope; Robin, Patrick and Tracy walk in on them and Robin yells "Mother!!!"

4. Tracy walks back into the HS and catches the tail end of a conversation wher Lulu tells Luke she will having nothing more to do with Johnny. Tracy says Hallelujah, and now she can help convince her father to do the same. Lulu tells Tracy that her dad makes his own decissions and Tracy is on her own, then Lulu leaves. Tracy asks him again to get away from the mob. Luke says they should be making love, not war. Tracy points out they are already in the middle of a war. Luke asks why she has so much problem with this, she was married to the mob a couple of times - she knows how it goes. Tracy then asks why he's making her beg, just get out of it.

5. "For once can you put your safety above your pride". Tracy begs. Same arguement about him getting out of the mob. Luke says he's not going to be a coward. Tracy points out that there is a huge difference between being safe and being a coward, and he hasn't saved the world in a very long time. Luke is insulted and says he could save the world again if he had to. Then he asks her when she started needing a safety net. They continue arguing, then Anna walks in drunk, asking if this is still the best game in town. Luke says she's a welcome diversion. Tracy is not amused.

6. Tracy says the city shut down the casino so she can't play there. Luke says he'll open it for a private game. Tracy looks directly at Anna and tells her to leave. Anna replies "easy tiger". Luke steps in to tell Anna to ignore his suddenly conservative wife and asks what she wants to play. Tracy tells him fine, but don't expect her home until late. Anna looks on and comments that Tracy is angry. "She's always angry, that's part of her charm", Luke replies. Then he rips off the cover on the Roulette wheel and asks Anna what got to her. She tells him she's about to meet her worst nightmare.

7. Tracy shows up at Robins and says "Grannie Goose is at the Haunted Star coming on to my husband. Do you want to muzzle her or should I?" Meanwhile Luke and Anna talk about having kids and Luke says kids tie you down and grandkids hold a mirror up that no one should have to look at. Anna is so pleased - he does get it. She loves Robin and is happy for her and excited that Robin is having a baby, but it's what happens to her in the process that she's not happy about. Then she asks Luke for advice. He tells her to be herself, only more. They start their game of strip Roulette, both drinking away.

My comments: History references all over the place. Someone was doing their homework. Still getting tired of the bickersons, though. I want some touching and kissing. This arguement is going in circles and won't end.

This argument is worse than the 15 million dollar conversation that got repeated more times than I can remember.

remos, you just keep posting on SOC. You are on a role. :D

hooked, 5 days in a row is good, but can we go back to Thanksgiving? The story was better [pauses], and so was the hair - haha! Sorry funny, I couldn't resist!

From SD just dropped...

When Tracy meddles, Luke's rebellion will get him in trouble with the law, trouble that requires an escape

Also dropped was this

Luke and Anna scheme Zachara big.

but then it was refuted saying anna is gone after next week. Luke/Anna one not true, Luke is leaving soon. the Luke/Anna stuff will not last past next week.

Well, you knew the set up was coming. Wonder how Tracy meddles....

So, does this mean I don't have a life? (probably)

BTW noticed that thread for ewcbo that we're not allowed to enter, isn't getting much action...mwahhahhaa

January, I believe. I know it was at least 4... could have been 5. Otherwise it was the Heart Attack stuff.

And ditto on the hair - get over it..

Love your positivity, hooked! Speaking of, how cool is the seeming fact that Tracy and Luke are living together at The Haunted Star. When she walked in Tuesday when Luke was counting the money, I thought she seemed very "at home" and not as if she had just arrived. Also, no purse. So, I think she was already "home". Later, after the dual ILYs, she was putting on a bracelet or maybe a watch. Also, caught that today, too, when she said she would be home late. I doubt she meant anywhere other than the HS since Luke probably wouldn't have been able to make it up the steps, much less back to the Q's.

Well that is cool too. That's what makes the world go round, like my grandma always used to say! :)

So latest from SD IL

Coming Soon:

Liz and Lucky grow closer.

Robin and Patrick make an important decision.

Sam has had enough of Lucky and Liz and makes an uncharacteristic move.

Jason is in hot water.

Alexis and Jerry steam things up.

Claudia learns some very important news about Jason. She will use this to her advantage.

Someone very unexpected comes to Jason's rescue just in the nick of time.

Maxie and Spinelli share an intimate moment.

Tracy gives Claudia a warning when it comes to Luke.

Johnny and Lulu try to fight their feelings but find it extremely difficult.

Carly and Sonny grief together in their own way.

Kate feels the pressure.

Later On:

Jax and Kate are left out in the cold.

Jason sees Claudia in a new light. Look for some interesting things to happen between them.

Carly makes a shocking admission to Sonny.

Patrick asks Robin and important question.

So we are back to Tracy/Claudia and not Tracy/Anna---I like Tracy/Claudia scenes so that is good.

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
