i just keep imagining what the stories would have been like if RC came around a few years ago. I'll admit- I loved the whole alan death story but ONLY b/c it brought us some fantastic scenes with the fam and especially JE- but if someone was writing who actually LOVED veterans and wants them at the forefront (b/c he's smart enough to know that they are the story, not these quick little 2 day story archs for the teenibopper set) and is crazy about JE's work, not to mention TG... what we'd have gotten and would be getting righht now! I guess i'll just have to wait for it, but I do like how it sounds. I just hop ethey aren't talking a big game and then fall seriously short

Hooked- favor to ask you? I am getting in gear to really start doing something with my book, even if it's only self publishing. I had been on that kick for a while and then so many things came up that it got kind of backburnered.... would you be willing to reread it, with all the edits and add ins, and see what you think? you don't need to go nuts and edit more for me, just wanted your opinion. I was sooo bummed. I had a few versions saved, with and without the additions, on my old computer. my laptop I got last year doesn't have a floppy disk drive b/c I FINALLY updated from my 2002 computer so I hd to email all the files to myself. I did that and then had to burn them onto a cd b/c, like I said, I don't have a disk drive.... i just went to open it on the cd- which I did test out btw before I actually deleted any files on the computer itself... and nothing was there!!!!!! kinda wanted to cry. I ad to search the archives in my email in the attachment folder and I found all emails that at one point had any part of this story attached to it. I have a few now that I need to go through and find which one it was that i need. But I have caught up with the rest of the world and I have them all saved on an external harddrive.... yup- I've caught up folks. Can't believe I hadn't done that yet- I am the generation that is ALL about computers, what gene did I miss out on?

Im doing freelance pr/marketing..have one big retainer client but it keeps me busy and I can do it from home.

Love being back semi-working again. It is only 15 hours a month guaranteed but comes out to be a lot more usually.

good for you!! glad you found something you enjoy like that! just to piggyback off of the last mention of it- I finally found the disk that actually has my story on it. I swear to god I wanted to cry when I couldn't find it. it was soo much work down the drain. turns out it was juts hidden on a differewnt disk that i came across. still have a lot of editing to do b/c when I was going through it again after I had initially taken a lot of things out it seems too short for a book now. I'll have to just develope the relationships with the supporting characters now that I have room to do it. Can't WAIT to get writing again.

on another note- where are all my old folks??! has everyone jumped ship? I have only seen hoked, ms q, and remos but someone else has to be here that i recognize.

does anyone still write on here? tg/je stories or otherwise? sorry to keep asking all these annoying questions. I've just been out of the loop for too long. And ms q- I'm guessing that you don't but is there any glimmer of a chance that you still have that webpage up with all the tracy scenes for the last few years that you had a while back. I am still trying to track down everything I can so I can burn a few disks, but I can't find anything i am looking for on youtube. they are all the new scenes but very few of the old ones that i am looking for.
