Pops in*

This is a quick drop. I apologize to anyone who might have PM'd me. I haven't had a chance to log in and I won't for a few days. But I will answer all messages by next Tuesday before I take off for vacation.

I tried to read the IL but I can't figure out what has been dropped and what hasn't.

You all probably know these, but I can confirm:

these play out the next week or two --

Scrubbies have a baby girl. Robin slips into a coma after losing too much blood.

Sam tells Jason that Jerry and Karpov are partners.

Jason puts two and two together and figures out Jerry has Sam.

Carly rescues Sonny from death by drowning.

Carly and Sonny remember Michael as Jax spies on them.

Carly makes a sacrifice for Sonny.

Laura gives it to Luke for lying to her about Tracy.

Laura confronts Tracy.

Laura comes to a decision about Luke after her conversation with Tracy.

play nice

FoJMMF

I have a feeling maybe Tracy is going to have a heartfelt scene with Laura telling her who much she really does love Luke? Either that or she is going to blackmail her--LOL

Where's this blackmail theory coming from? I thought you only floated that one on SD. There's no reason for Tracy to blackmail Laura for anything. Laura just needs to have the facts presented - I just hope we see Luke actually telling Laura that he's married to Tracy and doesn't plan on changing that. LnL can float their hope-balloon and say 'Luke really didn't choose Tracy', and we can laugh at them then get back to business.

Next on General Hospital:

Luke and Scott get themselves into a high-speed car chase.

Laura urges Scott to stop the madness, but he won't hear of it.

Scott loses control of his car.

Nik, Lucky and Lulu are surprised when they find Tracy in LA, too.

Robin has an emergency C-section, but the baby is born healthy.

Carly rescues Sonny from the harbor and takes her back to her house.

Sam and Jason start working on tracing the bomb explosion.

well HOT DAMN!!! I loved today!!! I don't really know how I felt about the first couple of scenes. They were funny but nothing compaired to the last two. I am so psyched that "Tracy" is back. Like the Tracy that isn't going to take any crap from anyone. Did you all hear that?! I guess it answered our question (or at mine) as to whether she was just to lie down and take it from Laura or if she was going to fight for Luke. It's ON!!!!! And I'm selling tickets, it's gonna be the best fight eva!! Well, right now I think so anyway.

Ok, going to watch those youtubes now.

The blackmail was never mentioned as part of a spoiler...but someone said something about Tracy telling Laura she was dying and only had a few months to live and wanted Luke with her--I think they were kidding and BSing...but I have a few feelers out--I seriously doubt that!

Hey, quick question...

How many times have Luke actually said the words "ILY" to Tracy...

Which scenes?

Off the top of my head, I have...

November 2006 upon Laura's return SL

January 2008 near the end of the heart attack SL

October 2008 on the plane to LA

Was there more???

Hmmm, the actual ILY's? I know there have been a few others... he usually says it in colourful ways. Did he say it when he proposed?

Oh... In April I believe (or early May) "You don't get it, you really don't get it. Tracy I love you... I... Love... You..."

In may at the Q mansion (I Love you, I miss you, I want you back" There is nobody else for me--nobody anywhere" stuff.

At the HS--You dont' get it I love you...I LOVE you...

Yeah the ILY/ILY too rfight before the cigar at the hospital

When luke was escaping the hospital and Tracy said to him you told me a lot of things at wyndemere, that you loved me, that you miss me, etc....

We didnt' hear it but apparently it was offscreen! LOL

Sounds like a ABC hotsheet

Carly saves Sonny! Luke and Laura face life, death - and the Tracy question!

Sonny's got a big problem: He's been stabbed by Karpov and dumped in the harbor. He's either going to bleed to death or drown. Thankfully, it's Carly to the rescue! She jumps into the harbor and gives Sonny mouth-to-mouth. But this might beget a bigger problem: You know what close proximity does to these two. Meanwhile, Luke and Laura face death when their car goes over the cliff. But there's an even bigger problem -- namely, his wife. Laura makes Luke decide: Does he want her or Tracy? Plus: Robin's baby is born, someone is murdered, Jerry tops himself in evilness and Jason teams up with Sam!

In laws are here and trick or treat starting soon...

but...our girl made the top 20 for october--miracle! LOL

I just found this from a while ago from the Lil sharks poster...I had been searching for it forever and just found it...guess this is what is coming up the week of the 10th right? Cause it isn't next week cause Luke and Tracy are not on together and this week it didn't happen!

Hey Lil Sharks!

Can you give out any bits and pieces on the luke/laura/tracy/scotty story?

If you love the Tracy from the mid 80's, who will do anything to get what she wants, you might be a little disappointed, but she going to fight a little dirty to keep her man. Some really good scenes for JE, but she makes gold out of the puff that B. G. and Co. have given her. Her fans are going to like her arguments to Luke about the "great" love of he and Laura.

Halloween from a kid's perspective: It's the best night in the world.

Halloween from a parent's perspective: This is truly the most obscene night in the world.

We just went around the block at 4-year-old speed, and we've got enough sugar to feed a small nation. I've actually put the timer on for 7 minutes - after that it's bed and the candy goes away. I thank God that my kids have never been effected by sugar.

How was the night for you folks?

EDIT

34. Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer) - 44 (-22)

I'm glad her numbers for October are up compared to what we've been getting each month, but still...What a horrible year to date count. Even worse (though not surprising) for Monica, Alan, Edward - ugh.

As for Halloween...It becomes a rather irritating holiday when you are the only one able to pass out candy.

My candy would also mysteriously disappear overnight when I was a kid. It would end up with my dad on the way to work the next morning. :P

I would like to give a thanks to everyone who regularly posts so much information on this thread. I have been not seen or heard for a bit now- I've only been able to pop in once in a while. You all are fabulous. I rely on the spoilers, recaps(Remos!) and clips(Nex!). What would I do without you girls to catch me up?

    • Yeah. I wasn't feeling it either. If it was meant to be a chem test, it didn't work. I don't think so. Because I think Neil and Liz moved into that house after Stefano "died", and Neil lived there until he went to go see his patients and never came back

    • Canada aired a repeat today Tues. Nov. 18. So after being a day ahead for the past week, they will now be back in sync with U.S.
    • I was really starting to enjoy it, but after Anspach, Shelton and Keane left, it got a bit blah to watch. Jane Russell was great as Rose, Buddy Ebsen as Toat was interesting as well.  If a second season were in the cards, I would have signed  Karen Carlson on to a contract and cast a couple more women as regulars. The cowboy aspect could continue. Sam Elliott, as always, was fantastic,  The camaraderie between Roy and Quisto was really good as well. Cybill... she was sex on a stick and unapologetic.   Poor Robin Wright barely lasted five minutes, though, before being raped and murdered.
    • I love it that we've gone from daylight to dark -- Luna's even returned to work -- but Steffy is still sitting next to shirtless Finn on the sofa.

    • Is the current DiMera mansion the same mansion Stefano moved into around 1983?  I remember that house was out near a lake, and not far from Doug Williams' night club.  In fact, there was a tunnel connecting Doug's Place to the DiMera mansion.  If it supposed to be the same house, I'm fairly sure it is not the same set.  But I'm aware sometimes soap opera sets change without any explanation
    • Amazing work @slick jones I remember watching and enjoying Yellow Rose but losing interest once they went to self contained episodes, Interestingly that's the opposite of what Dallas, KL and FC did. So maybe YR should have been more episodic at first and then go to a fully fledged serial. But really the timeslot was the problem -Sat @10 was not the spot for a serial. And Rounders turned out to be a poor lead in. Maybe 9-11 Tues following A Team would have helped.
    • LOL!!! He looks like he is reacting as if Luna just passed bad gas or something.
    • Doug Marland came on board shortly before Gloria Monty, I believe. Jackie Smith was in charge of ABC daytime at that point. All of the characters in place were not his creations. Alan was created by Irving and Tex Ellman who wrote the hurricane story a few months before and brought in Alan, Scotty, David Hamilton, Dorrie and Lisa/Lana. His first character was  Bobbie in Jan 78. Apart from wrapping up the Lan/Lisa story he pretty much kept all the stories going just adding new elements.
    • She is 29... she's inching closer, and we know how important age is on soaps.

    • When I saw that look on Will's face, I thought, "Yeah, there's no one on set giving direction to Crew Morrow. There's no one giving notes." His dad Josh was green when he started, but not this green.
