On Thursday, May 14, actor Stephen Oyoung made his daytime debut as Jason Choi on “Days of our Lives,” a role that sees Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) family formally expand their presence in Salem, along with the already appearing Amy (Shi Ne Nielson), Sophia’s mom.
Oyoung’s credits include such shows as “For All Mankind,” “Good Trouble,” “Insecure,” “SEAL Team,” “Magnum P.I.,” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” among others, and the films “Workaholics,” “Twisters” and “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,” among others. Outside of on-screen credits, he is probably best known for lending his voice to several top-tier games, including “Cyberpunk 2077,” “Gotham Knights,” “Harry Potter: Magic Awakened,” “Remnant II,” and, most notably, “Spider-Man” and its sequel game, “Spider-Man 2.”
As for his time on soaps thus far, in Friday’s episode, Jada (Elia Cantu) explained to the Choi family that Sophia’s disappearance has been turned into a search-and-recovery mission. Meanwhile, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) makes it clear to the Choi’s that Sophia wasn’t the sainted daughter her family believes her to be, instead revealing her true nature as a tormentor.
Amy doesn’t take the news well and shares that Holly will get what’s coming to her when the time comes.
