This is just like when they were making Phyl have a dumb/weird rivalry with Abby... NEWSFLASH: it does not make the older woman seem "younger" - all it does is highlight how much older they are and it makes everything WEIRD. Shades of the Sharon/Abby rivalry over Scott a few years back. My guess is Sharon is headed back to Shick.
