Members kade Posted July 13, 2007 Members Share Posted July 13, 2007 In one of those places where most current songs aren't really kicking it for me right now...been totally lost in odd 80's music...early punk stuff like The Jam, The Clash, The Sex Pistols alternating with pure pop from the same period...like Sheena Easton, Olivia Newton-John and Andy Gibb...to top all that off I've been also playing (again from this same period) Barry Manilow, Air Supply, and Chicago from the early 80's...I was born in 84 so it's not nostalgia, just bored with this summer's batch of dance and pop and Brit-pop and finding these kinda cool...thank heavens it's hot I can't imagine having this stuff blaring with open windows what people would think! LOL! Also got the first series of "Fame" on DVD and have been playing the soundtrack to that...to be honest the song I'm playing right now is "Starmaker" by The Kids From Fame... I'm not really into war movies but some of the stuff Bale's character went through to survive..
