Challie have one more scene coming ...

Monday, February 20
Allie and Chanel share a bittersweet goodbye.

My sense is that they still love each other but Allie probably leaves town to get her head together.  Maybe she and Henry go live with Will in New Zealand? I doubt she'd go back to Italy, but it's possible.

Some things made sense today, but some things didn’t.

Since when does Eric wear glasses? And how was Kayla able to reach out to Steve in his dream? Maybe we should’ve seen the women in heaven or wherever first and saved Kayla and Steve’s scenes for another episode. That at least would have made it make sense

I do like how messy everything is getting  in all these storylines though. It actually seems real because in most cases, it’s the characters and their own actions driving story, especially when it comes to Eric and Nicole. I’d rather see it be done like that instead of being done stupidly.

But, all this random sex on Days lately, and poor Tripp can’t get any of it??

So, the rest of Valentine's Day & awkwardness besetting Stefan & Gabi, Sloan & Eric and EJ & Nicole. But, did Patch really see Kayla? Tripp's outta luck but he is finally acting like a son should to his dad. The thing is there's no way a fictional dream Kayla could have known those facts about what's happened in her "life" in the last week so it had to actually be Kayla reaching out to him. I guess because of the strength of their bond & it being their anniversary. This was Day 8 since we saw the Salem Angels last on Feb. 3rd. I wonder if we get a White Space day tomorrow? The awkwardness was played with such reality. I think Eric's been wearing glasses this whole crazed time! Stefan's gonna have to find someone to talk to besides Gabi when it comes to his feelings about Chloe! She could dump a lot of wine on him at this rate.

Ahaha-ha-ha-ha! I'll take it. I'm a sarcastic sh*t, but it's out of fun love when I do it. Well, sort of.

I don't have much to say about today's episode, but the asparagus looked so good! It wasn't just on EJ's plate, but I also saw them on Nicole and Sloane's plate too! But, having asparagus before you're about to do the nasty for Valentine's Day? Oh, no, no, no, no , no! Hell to the NO. I mean, seriously. Do you know what asparagus smells like after you pee or have an orgasm? Oh, hell nawww. So gross.

Perhaps this writing team wouldn't know any better...

Wonder if Will & Allie will make a return visit when Marlena turns up alive? Or perhaps they've been conditioned to it at this point. Grooming in Salem: Death is never permanent unless the actor is older and starting to forget their lines.

I mean, we're all grown adults here, right? We all know about asparagus, don't we? Oh, no, no, no! We're going to have this conversation about asparagus, okay? Trust me ... the last thing you want to eat before sex is having asparagus. No, no, no, no! We ALL know that smell, okay? You all quit acting like you have no idea what I'm talking about because that smell is gross I wouldn't even wish it on my enemy.

Well, except Kellyanne Conway.

It is a chore to watch today's show. What a hot mess! It is very difficult finishing this episode.

@AbcNbc247  As for Tripp getting some lovin...how about with Mr Bobblehead?

Kayla blabbing everything to Steve was ridiculous!

And carlivati rewriting the brainwash story.

Gawd  how I loathe Li.

Seriously there is no rooting value for any of these characters.

Even Eric and Nicole are getting boring with their story.

    • And based on the previews for today, maybe we’ll, uh, finally see something

    • Haven't seen today's ep yet but so will be interested to see the clothes. So far I think they have been very character specific (even if I don't like some of them eg Kat's cutsie style) Anita is very showy/glittery, Nicole classic elegance, Dani sexy/bold colors etc. Unlike Y&R which seems much more generic. Also BTG pays attention to the men's wardrobe and has developed a style for the boyz-which is harder to do with male fashion. The absence of any of Derek/Ashley at any of these big events again demonstrates how they are in a different universe to the rest of the show. Not that a nurse and a fireman would be there but still they seem destined at this point to stay in their own lane and have little interaction with the core of the show.
    • Agnes had written for Bernard Grant for many years on TGL as well as Ernest Graves and Joe Gallison,Doris Belack,Robert Milli, and  Antony Ponzini at AW. So she would probably gravitate to writing a role with an actor in mind or choosing someone she had written for before who she knew could deliver.
    • Once Johnny Dallas' cut himself off from Laurie Ann Karr and their son, and once Laurie successfully recovered from her mental problems, she wanted a new, fresh, and healthy start for the next chapter of her life. She legally reverted her name and changed John Victor's  surname to Karr. After moving to the country (when Teri  Keane was dropped from the show), Bill and Martha Marceau legally adopted Jennifer, the baby girl whom they had earlier taken in when the child's biological mother, Taffy Simms (and other bio family members) proved to be unfit to raise her. Jennifer legally and emotionally became a Marceau, and gave that name to her own daughter, whom Jennifer birthed through surrogacy as a single parent. Et...voila! The Karr and Marceau legacies live on.

    • BLQ is having second thoughts regarding putting her baby up for adoption. Chase is upset he can't tell Dante. So both are putting this on at lulus feet. Saying she is holding it over them. Lulu is doing none of this.
    • Yes she absolutely was involved in that story which seems to have gone nowhere.  She didn't start to remove herself from the writing until 1973.
    • Y'all are bringing back great memories of AMC 2.0 for me.  I haven't thought about it and the new characters in so long, well since it aired, and I plan to go re-watch it now. When AMC ended, I finally came to peace with it and accepted that I will never watch an hour of a TV show daily in my life again... something that I had been doing since I was 6-7 years old. I was starting a new career, relationship, and chapter in life when AMC 2.0 came out.  I found a way to watch it, but things felt differently for me at the time and when it was so short-lived and gone, it became such a distant memory, sadly.
    • That's a great point. I wish the writing could find those nuances.
    • After all Lulu's been through with her coma and missing years I can get her being on the sensitive side especially when talking to her mother.  I was thinking it was more a culmination of everything than just this one particular problem.
