Pre-contest favourite Loreen gives Sweden its 7th win, tying with Ireland for most wins through the years. She also becomes only the second act ever to win twice, following in Johnny Logan's footsteps.

There were some noticeable discrepancies between jury and televote.... Norway, Ukraine, Croatia, Poland were way more popular with the public, whereas Estonia, Australia, Austria and Spain were the opposite. Jury and public seemed very much in tune when it came to France though.....
