ARTICLE: Jill Wagner and Cameron Mathison to Star in ‘The Christmas Farm’ for GAC Family, Part of Network’s “Great American Christmas”

Jill Wagner (“Teen Wolf”) and Cameron Mathison (“General Hospital”) are set to play opposite each other in the all-new GAC Family original movie, “The Christmas Farm” (working title), set to premiere later this year as part of the network’s “Great American Christmas” programming event.

In the movie, Wagner plays Janie, a rising marketing executive living in The Big Apple who returns to her hometown of Woodland Falls when her Great-Uncle Randall passes away. Janie is not prepared for the gift Randall has bestowed on his last living relative: the family homestead, Janie’s childhood home. While not immediately sure what to do with a fully functioning farm, Janie agrees to honor Randall’s final request to plan and host Woodland Falls’ annual Winter Wonderland as Randall’s gift to his community. Enter Dylan (Mathison, a farmhand Randall prearranged to help at the event, which is being held in the farm’s sprawling barn. Aware that her Manhattan boyfriend is anxious for her to return to the city so the pair can jet off to a previously planned holiday on the beach, Janie begins to feel an unexpected emotional tug about living life in a more authentic, meaningful way.

In addition to starring in the movie, Wagner will also serve as an executive producer on the project alongside Brad Krevoy, Eric Jarboe, Amanda Phillips, Amy Krell, Vince Balzano, Susie Belzberg Krevoy, Kathy Ceroni, Bradley Walsh, and Jimmy Townsend. Supervising Producers are Byron A. Martin, W. Michael Beard, and Michael Shepard. Associate Producers are Kaitlyn Greenough and Kelly Martin. Bradley Walsh directs from an original screenplay by Adam Rockoff and Blaine Chiappetta.

In anticipation of the second annual “Great American Christmas” holiday programming event, kicking off October 28, 2022 on GAC Family, the network will air encore presentations of the 2021 slate each Saturday throughout May and June. Check listings for schedule.
