Shemar Moore (“The Young and the Restless,” “S.W.A.T.”) appeared on the Wednesday, April 13 episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show” to discuss his new film, “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” and revealed his best style secrets, including where he got the “hip Mr. Rogers” look he’s been vibing of late. Moore plays the role of Randall in the film.

In the clip below, Moore and Clarkson find out that not only do they share a passion for Calvin Klein apparel but that despite all of their previous career accomplishments their families found them both cool for the most basic of things.

Released over the weekend and already grossing more than $81 million domestic out of $158.6 million worldwide cume, according to stats shared by Box Office Mojo through Tuesday, April 12, “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” finds the blue hedgehog advancing to the next level as he’s eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero when Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) returns to Earth with a new ally, Knuckles the Echidna (voiced by Idris Elba), leaving Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) and his new friend Tails (voiced by Colleen O’Shaughnessey) as all that stands in their way to rule the universe.

The film stars James Marsden (“X-Men” movie franchise) as Sonic’s human friend Tom Wachowski and Tika Sumpter (“One Life to Live”) as his wife, Maddie Wachowski.
