:lol: I'm not understanding how Nick can want forgiveness from her at that moment... after admitting that he still has feelings for Phyllis. He told Phyllis that he loves her, and yet he also loves Sharon and wants to be with her... please, he doesn't even looks interested in being with Sharon anymore. I wanted to jack him up and hold him down for Sharon to beat.

She flirted back then...but ever since Sharon found about Nick's affair with Phyllis it sounds to me more like Sharon is giving advice more than anything...she doesn't want Brad to be in a marriage he might regret.

New to the board and saw this thread, so I had to bring it back up. I think Sharon Case is one of the most undervalued, under appreciated actresses on YR. She's consistently delivered flawless performances w/the material that has been handed to her over the years. I think this latest sl w/her having mental issues and dealing w/the fall out from Brad's death and all the drama of her and Nick as well as Noah's rebellion has really allowed the actress to shine in ways she was never allowed before. I don't normally value anything that Branco has to say as I find him wishy washy and quite fickle but he called Sharon Case the Kate Winslet of YR and this is one time I would agree w/him.

Sharon Case is a YR treasure!

I like Sharon Case but cant stand the character of Sharon Newman and wish they'd kill her off. She's completely ruined and only death and some time off can somewhat start her on the road to redemption as far as Im concerned

I think those are both good examples.
I do believe JB was popular as Vicky. Although I don't know if she got really lucky or was actually good. Her role as Melissa on GH and her off screen antics make me think it was the former.

Maybe the three key Margo Hugheses on ATWT? There was a fourth like Bransford who didn't go over well, but the others were very distinctive and to my understanding popular.
Vicky Hudson on AW might be the same, though I have never cared much for Jensen Buchanan lol.

I thought the scenes between Britt and Jason were well done, so I'll give KT props for that at least. I agree it felt like she was asking too much of him. It's unrealistic to think Jason, of all people, would be 100% committed to anyone at this point and he actually shouldn't have to be when he's just offering help? Britt also has family that would be happy to help her, so it's not as if she's all alone in the world.
The whole Dalton murder and Britt/Sidwell connection is fine I suppose, but it feels like the show just scrapped Emma's only story. All the months she spent trying to get in good with Dalton yet she never cracked the case and now he's dead.

That's great that you've found something to enjoy. I remember my first telenovela as a child - Rosalinda. I was obsessed. I was sooo little, practically a baby, but remember re-enacting scenes from the show, fake falling down the stairs like Rosalinda and fake-getting run by car like she was. I would recreate these hyper dramatic moments all day long. My father cringing every time he sees me. 😄

Cherie Jimenez as Gabi on Days. I am not sure if Camila Banus was ever super popular, but she led storyline and was on the show for years.
Not to veer off topic, but I am also quite fascinated by the Carly situation on GH. I know TB wasn't immediately accepted, while Laura was due to the Bransford situation, but it has to be rare to have such longevity and success with three separate actors in the role. Are there other roles/actors that have achieved that?

Thank you for reminding me! I think I know which ones you are referring to. It's just so hard to follow what is up and what gets taken down from YouTube. I think they've been cleaning a lot of channels due to this new streaming thing.
BTW, I was just watching again and I guess Susan Lucci was on hiatus, because Erica is nowhere to be seen. They left us on a cliffhanger and now I watch every episode expecting to see what happened with her and the clown. Manipulative writing.

D'oh! That makes sense. In that case, Jill Larson (AMC) as Opal. She had the additional advantage of the character being offscreen for a half-decade.
