For once there’s a lot I can agree with SOD including Best Couple, Worst Mystery, Worst Triangle,  best and worst returns, best new male and female characters, and worst  character.

Still there’s a couple head scratchers. Skyle had talent? I am thankful the Fisher/Baldwins are underused, and Chelsea’s stroke as Best Story? Hell no.

I can agree with Paulina on DAYS being the best new character. She's been awesome, and so has her daughter Chanel.

For worst use of history, I probably would've gone with Hayden's shooting on GH. They've rewritten so much of what happened on screen that I genuinely don't understand what's happening with the story anymore. It's confusing.

Liz and Franco is kind of an odd choice for worst breakup. They didn't break up. He died.

Brady/Chloe/Philip is an awful triangle and it's literally just been the same scene on repeat for months.

There is no history there. The longest the characters involved have been on the show is like a couple of years and most of them were hired a few MONTHS before the story unfolded.
In what way is this using History - poorly or not - at all?

I mean the overall list has fewer eyebrow-raisers than in years past but it is still hard to understand the rationale for some of those.

The way they rationalized it was that was Finn sleeping with Jackie the night before her wedding was a badly written reason as to why Finn was estranged from his Dad

Jackee Harry could simply read a phone book and I'd be entertained. 😊

Outside of me side-eying Best Story, I feel it's a good list for this year. Same wavelength for the most part.

i agree on a lot of that list especially Ashland from Y&R!
