I'm also glad I didn't invest any serious money into GME. I do think that RobinHood and other apps limiting the shares killed the momentum.  I have a few AMC and BlackBerry shares that I'm going to hold on to long term. I think they'll both rebound.

I'm happy I dipped my toe into Crypto and invested a bit into Bitcoin when it dipped to the low 30K though. I wish I had bought some last year when it was around $7K or even 2018 when it was at $3K.  Oh well.

Here we go! Round 2! GME up $46.74 (104%) for the day, ending at $91.71.   And now they're up to $168 during after hours (reaching $200 at one point).   I need this to hit $333 to break even.  LOL

I've been looking at weed stocks, but I haven't made any decisions yet.

I still have my shares of GME and AMC, but I'm not expecting much to happen with them. There are still a lot of people who think there will be a squeeze on GME. We'll see next week I guess.

Weed stocks were my first investments.  LOL   My big one, my extreme long shot is 1933 Industries (TGIF).  I have 5 digit number of shares.  And I have around 4 other companies that I invested in, though not that much (less than 200 shares).

Last month, I got into a gaming/gambling stock called TheScore.  It's a small Canadian company with the #1 sports app in Canada. They're starting to break into the US betting market, and they also just listed on the Nasdaq last week.   TheScore isn't close to any of the big American players, like Penn Gaming, Draftkings, or Fanduel, but I'm thinking it could be a buyout one day.

I think the weed and gambling markets are going to be huge in 5-10 years.  Fingers crossed for the Democrats passing more weed bills and decriminalizing it one day soon....like before 2022 elections.  LOL

Looks like WSB is targeting Rocket Companies (RKT) next.  It's up 71% today.

Do you still have AMC? It's going bonkers today and it's up 1,223% (as of this post) in the last 6 months.  LOL

    • GET THAT HEFFA, NOSY NURSE!!!   I'm sorry to see Smitty and June coming to a middle ground. It seem like that tension would be between them for at least one more story arc. A writing change?   I'm sorry but I love the teen unit of Ty, Samantha, and Jessica (and Rocco, Danny, Charlotte over on GH which is what today is reminding me of). I'm a sucker for soap teens. lol.
    • I really hope Laura doesn’t get reelected. She doesn’t deserve it. Imagine her campaign staff, freaking out at the Metro Court as election results come in while she’s hanging out with Sonny.
    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? Is it just me or did they never even say the name of this soap opera? Days wasn't new in 1973 and there was no "Jack" with three daughters on The Young and the Restless. What soap are they talking about? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
    • Something I didn't realize: Frank Ashmore, who played Monica's investigator Corrigan in 1981, was also Victor, the third guy in the cockpit, in Airplane!
    • Thanks, maybe I will skim through those episodes.  I have previously binged late 1985 through early 1987; April-June, August 1992 (I skipped Carlo Hesser murder trial), Jan-March 1995 and I began watching in 2006. I just struggle to stay consistent with routines especially binging routines haha
    • I could've sworn we went over the Bobbie thing a while ago, and saw her introduced to Rick and Lesley as "Nurse Barbara" in very late '77? Or was that early '78? I know the clip is online. Jackie always credited Marland with creating her IIRC.
    • Thanks.  Loon Lake - very on the nose. With that "dad" outfit Bo looks even more like Cassie's father...
